Can you tell me more about the kiddie pool? Is it attached to the current pool or is it separate?
Great question, John! The new kiddie pool at V22124 is approximately 9 ft. x 9 ft. with a water depth of approximately 9 in. - 1 ft. It is separate from the pool and will be located in the corner where the hot tub is currently pictured. New photos are coming soon!

Is there any possible way to access this home if you do not own a four wheel drive vehicle? Are there any four wheel drive rental places around there?
Great question, Marshall! The 4x4 beaches are only accessible by a 4x4 vehicle. For more information on driving on the beach please visit www.twiddy.com/outer-banks-4x4-driving.aspx and call 800-489-4339 for information on vehicle rentals.

We are curious to know what the dark rectangular areas are directly beind this house on the picture.
Great question, Sharon! That area is part of the septic field for the home.

Can you drive on the beach in front of cottage by way of any access ramps?
Gary, you will be driving on the beach to access the home, but not by driving over the dune directly in front of the home; access would be by the sand road or path south of the home that crosses the dune. This link to the aerial view of the neighborhood illustrates this; you would turn left from the beach onto the access just south of V22102, and then turn right to access V22124: www.twiddy.com/aerials/aerial-carova-beach-south-2.aspx

Can you walk directly across to the beach? Or do you have to go down to an access? How far would it be?
Great question Barb! This home does not have its own private walkway to the beach, because you are not permitted to walk over the dunes you would need to walk to the closest access ramp to get down to the waters edge. Luckily you have two to chose from, one on either side of Water Water Everywhere! We invite you to click on the 'where's the beach?' map to see a great aerial photo!
