Shift into 4-wheel drive and get ready for an adventure at “A Treasured Sea” in Carova Beach! Located directly on the oceanfront, breathtaking ocean views are yours to enjoy throughout your stay. Due to the topography of the immediate area, this home is uniquely situated on an elevated lot, allowing for enhanced views of both the ocean and the maritime forest to the west. Comfortable accommodations and fun amenities make this vacation home your family’s 4x4 destination.
The great room on the home’s top floor features large ocean-facing windows to allow the beautiful view to fill the space. Kick back and relax in the living area, which includes an electric fireplace for use during cooler weather. Across the room, the kitchen is equipped with essential items to minimize trips back down the beach to the grocery store. There are two refrigerators and an ice machine, as well as all the equipment needed to prepare meals throughout your stay. In addition, there is a wet bar with a beverage refrigerator and an ice machine conveniently located in the dining area. Outside, the oceanfront deck is a great place to hang out anytime, whether sipping your morning coffee while watching the sunrise over the ocean or enjoying a beverage in the salty ocean breeze. There is also a screened porch if you need a shaded place to relax.
Back inside, there is one ensuite bedroom on the third floor, which includes a private bathroom and access to the deck. Four additional ensuite bedrooms can be found on the second floor, each with a private bathroom and all but one with access to the covered deck. The rec room on the second floor includes two full size arcade games (Golf with multiple courses and Pac-man with multiple games), perfect for a little friendly competition among family members. Laundry facilities are also available on the second floor.
Outside, fun in the sun will be on your vacation agenda. Take a dip in the refreshing private pool or simply lounge in the sunshine poolside. There is a tiki bar nearby when you’re ready for a break from the sun. A half bathroom on the ground floor, accessible from the outside only, which is convenient for bathroom breaks during your days outside at the beach or pool. When you’re ready for some beach time, take a stroll along the home’s private walkway to the beach. The walkway includes a dune top gazebo, a great place to sit and watch for the Corolla Wild Horses. If you’d like to spend time hiking, False Cape State Park is nearby, just across the Virginia/North Carolina border. Truly immerse yourself in False Cape State Park’s miles of trails through the coastal landscape, where vehicles are prohibited. You and your family will love making Outer Banks vacation memories at “A Treasured Sea” on the 4x4 beach!

Situated on the wonderfully unique 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach offers vacationing friends and families the opportunity to enjoy time together on the coast without the distractions of a bustling neighborhood environment. A four-wheel drive vehicle is needed to navigate the beaches where Carova Beach rental homes are located. The northern-most community of the 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach is approximately 8 miles from the beach access ramp and stretches north for about 3 miles to the Virginia border. While there are no roads, restaurants, or shops in Carova Beach, what you will find is a breathtakingly beautiful & vast shoreline, roaming wild horses and a positively ideal vacation environment.
