Directly oceanfront, this home is perched atop the rolling dunes and steps away from the secluded walk-in nature preserve at False Cape State Park. This is a vacation escape from the ordinary! The Gull Cottage is even better then the photos! It has new decking, counters, breakfast bar, shower curtains, bedding, and so much more. The hot tub was moved up by the pool. The owners have done a GREAT job! We loved the home, and it's location at the end of the beach. Thank you!

James, pets are permitted in homes that list “Pets Allowed” in the description (NO EXCEPTIONS). A violation of the pet policy is cause for termination of tenancy.

It shows there is an elevator now for 2017....will it go to all 3 floors?
Excellent question, Laura! The elevator will be accessible on all three levels on the interior of the house. The lower level will be accessible on the front on the house right inside the ground floor door. It will also be accessible on the 2nd level room right beside the front door (parking side of house).

Chris, that is a great question, this home is located about 10.1 miles from the beach access ramp. It is an approximate 30 minute drive on the beach.

My boyfriend likes to go fishing in the ocean is there an inlet or Marina close by to get out to the ocean and if there isn't how long would it take By boat to reach the ocean?

can you please tell me why a 4x4 vehicle is required? I have never traveled to the outer banks and am looking for a first house to rent.
