Get ready for an unforgettable vacation at “Ocean’s Edge”, the star of the sea! Accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicle only, the 8-mile drive up the beach allows the opportunity to enjoy the gorgeous coastal landscape as you make your way to the home. Once you reach the home, which is located directly on the oceanfront, stunning ocean views and salty breezes are yours to enjoy throughout your stay. With twelve bedrooms and many common areas, inside and out, there’s plenty of room for your entire family to gather and make memories.
On the third floor of the home, you’ll find the home’s main living space, which features beautiful views of the ocean. Kick back and relax with loved ones in the living area, which features an electric fireplace to warm you up if the weather is chilly. The kitchen is equipped with all that you need to prepare meals for the duration of your stay, just add groceries. Two refrigerators in the kitchen assist with food storage and can help reduce trips to the grocery store. Two dishwashers are a big help when cleaning up after big family meals. The dining area nearby is set up for gathering and enjoying meals together. Outside on the deck, relax and enjoy your morning coffee while you watch the sunrise over the ocean. The oceanfront sand dune is an ideal place for the Corolla Wild Horses to stop and hang out as they roam through the area. Back inside, there are two master bedrooms on the top level, each with a private bathroom and access to the deck. A half bathroom completes the top floor of the home.
The middle level of the home consists of a mixture of sleeping quarters and common space. You’ll find four master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and access to the covered deck. There are two additional bedrooms that share a full bathroom between them. The sitting area on the second floor serves as an additional place to relax, and an electric fireplace is available for use. There is also a wet bar in the sitting area, so refreshments are never far away. Laundry facilities are conveniently located on the middle floor as well.
On the ground floor, there are four additional master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. One of the master bedrooms has access to the deck. Plan a family movie night that goes to an epic new level in the theatre room. In the rec room nearby, there is a pool table for some friendly competition during the evenings.
Outside, fun in the sun is on your vacation agenda. Make a splash in the refreshing private pool or simply soak in the sunshine as you lounge around the pool. At the end of your day, relax in the hot tub before heading to bed. The poolside cabana with TV is a great place to hang out together, day or night. Or, gather around the firepit in the evening and chat with loved ones. Your family will love making vacation memories at “Ocean’s Edge” on the Outer Banks!

Situated on the wonderfully unique 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach offers vacationing friends and families the opportunity to enjoy time together on the coast without the distractions of a bustling neighborhood environment. A four-wheel drive vehicle is needed to navigate the beaches where Carova Beach rental homes are located. The northern-most community of the 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach is approximately 8 miles from the beach access ramp and stretches north for about 3 miles to the Virginia border. While there are no roads, restaurants, or shops in Carova Beach, what you will find is a breathtakingly beautiful & vast shoreline, roaming wild horses and a positively ideal vacation environment.
