Best house I rented yet! We normally change houses every year but we loved this one so much we rolled it over. Great location, private, plenty of room, every room has its own bathroom which is great.

Question:

I see that the house is 8 miles up the beach. Are the access ways packed sand, loose sand or are there some real roads in this area? I am concerned as to how much of the trip is on loose sand. Are the streets well marked and easily seen in the dark?

Answer:

Hi Carla, you will be driving on the beach 8.1 miles before crossing over the sand dune to reach the home. For the most part this drive will be soft sand, however, weather conditions can effect the beach conditions. There are mile markers but these can be knocked down in storms or by the wild horses so we recommend setting your odometer to zero at the end of the paved road so you know when you have traveled the 8.1 miles. There are not any paved roads in the 4x4 area. For helpful driving tips and instructions for this area please visit: www.twiddy.com/faq.aspx#4x4/RBzdzWCbQJeKGzfRsiDixQ/
