We welcome guests with service animals, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act
(ADA). A service animal is a dog (or miniature horse) trained to perform tasks for a person with
a disability, such as guiding someone who is blind, alerting someone who is deaf, pulling a
wheelchair, or performing other disability-related tasks.
Service animals are not considered pets and are allowed in all homes, even if the property has a
no-pet policy. Because service animals are not pets, there are no pet fees or additional charges.
Guests traveling with a service animal are responsible for keeping the animal under control,
housebroken, and out of off-limit areas, including pools and hot tubs. We encourage, but do not
require, guests to provide advance notice when bringing a service animal so we can best prepare
for their stay.
Emotional support animals (ESAs) provide comfort but are not trained service animals under the
ADA. ESAs are generally treated like pets, and are only allowed if the property accepts pets.
Standard pet fees and house rules apply. For long-term stays of 30+ days, ESA accommodations
may be reviewed individually and could be permitted without applicable pet fees, depending on
the property and situation.
We perform a post-stay inspection to ensure all homes are returned to their standard condition.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused by the animals.
If you have questions about bringing an animal, we encourage you to contact us before booking
so we can help make your stay smooth and enjoyable. Our policy complies with the ADA and
the Fair Housing Act, ensuring guests with service animals can stay comfortably and without
concern.
