"Close to beach."
"This house is very nice, especially for the price. This is the price range we rent every year and Robin's Roost has nicer finishes than most. The top level bathroom was roomy, had granite countertops and an attractive tile wall. Others have complained about the king bed upstairs, but we stayed for 2 weeks and found the bed to comfortable. Our niece spent almost a week with us and she said her bed on the middle level was extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the top deck where we could see the sound and the ocean. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans and even storage containers for leftovers. The luggage lift was a great idea, but unfortunately out of order when we arrived. Our only drawback was the sandspurs. It's a dog friendly house, but the yard isn't dog friendly. Either way, we really enjoyed our stay."
"We enjoyed our stay at this house. The proximity to the beach is great and so are the views. The house itself is very nice, updated furniture, floors and we loved that the hot tub is right outside the bedroom doors. The spiral staircase was a little steep for our 10lb chihuahua, so the baby gates were much appreciated! My only complaint is that the wifi is on the slow side. Thanks for a great time, we've already booked for 2023!"

"Close to the beach and town. Loved the new flooring on the main level of the home. We have stayed at Robin's Roost for 3 yrs and have reserved for 2023."

"We loved our beach vacation. The location of the home was very convenient to the beach access which was a huge plus for our family toting a baby. The beach chairs, umbrellas and wagon were a nice surprise as well! I rented a beach wagon with balloon tires which gave us additional ease bringing all our supplies over the walkway to the sand. The kitchen was pretty well stocked and the living area was comfortable. We also really enjoyed the decks and hammock swing. On the flip side, only one bed (queen on mid-level w/ bathroom) had a comfortable mattress. The other queen bedroom was so hard that no one could sleep in that room. It would be a great idea to supply foam mattress pads for the king, second queen and bunks. Also, the steep wooden spiral stairs should be included in the description so those of us with tiny dogs and/or grandparent aged could be better prepared. The hot tub with ocean view was wonderful! Overall, we had a great time and I got a great workout walking up/down!"

"This home was perfect for our needs. We were surprised by the fact that there were actually 5 bedrooms. The room with the daybed is not a den, it's a bedroom without a closet. My only complaint with this house was all the sand spurs that kept getting stuck on my dogs, but I know that this is just a hazard of some OBX locations. Overall, it was a great deal and I'd definitely stay again!"

"Great location!!! Omg! Such a great location! The house is a little dated but I think that the price is fair. The new bed is great! Never saw a bug in the house. We could hear the waves from the porch. My only complaint is that the grill is like one you see at a park and doesn’t make for good grilling. So we bought a lil smoky abd it was fine. My kids loved it! Word of warning if you have people with bad knees. The kitchen and family room are on the top floor and the stairs are spiral, wooden, and steep. our dog wouldn’t walk up or down them. The WiFi cord burned the previous week so I called a lot to get it replaced. It has great WiFi now. You’re welcome!"

"The pictures need to be updated. They don’t do the house justice. New furniture really updates the 3 rd floor. Nice appliances and updated bathroom on that floor. A house has been built on the lot beside it but you still have nice ocean views from almost every window In the house. The second floor could use some updating but it’s a great, comfortable home to vacation in. Location is a really quick walk to beach access. We couldn’t be happier with our stay!"
