The home’s main gathering place can be found on the third floor, in the open and airy great room. Relax in the comfortable living area and watch TV or simply catch up with loved ones. The kitchen is stocked with all that you need to prepare meals throughout your stay, just add groceries. Barstool seating is available at the kitchen counter as well as at a separate breakfast bar, perfect for additional seating for meals. The nearby dining area is conveniently set up for enjoying family meals together. Or choose to dine outside on the deck, where you have a great view of the sparkling ocean at the end of the street. In the morning, make your coffee and head up to the roof-level observation deck to watch a beautiful OBX sunrise without leaving the house. Back inside, up a small flight of stairs, the ship’s watch serves as an additional place to relax, perhaps with a good book. There is one master bedroom on the third floor, which includes a private bathroom.
The remainder of the bedrooms can be found on the second floor of the home. There are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the second floor, as well as laundry facilities. Just outside, the relaxing hot tub awaits on the covered deck. The deck is also accessible from two of the bedrooms on the middle floor of the home. On the ground floor of the home, kids will love playing ping pong in the garage, which also doubles as a storage place for your beach gear.
Outside, fun in the sun is on the agenda. Make a splash in the heated private pool, or simply choose to lounge around poolside. An outdoor dinette set is available in the spacious pool area, perfect for enjoying lunch by the pool. For the competitive members of your group, there is a basketball goal. After a long day at the beach, a full bathroom and multiple outdoor showers are conveniently located outside to clean up before going back into the house. For shopping, dining, and entertainment options, Duck Village is conveniently located a few minutes’ drive away, or choose to bike into town using the multi-use path that runs alongside Route 12.
