Welcome to An Ocean View I, a spacious oceanfront retreat in Duck designed with comfort, convenience, and gathering in mind. With seven bedrooms, each featuring its own private ensuite bathroom, this home offers the perfect balance of togetherness and personal space for large families and groups.
The home’s thoughtfully designed layout provides multiple levels of living and entertainment areas, allowing guests to spread out and enjoy their vacation in a variety of ways. The top floor features a bright, open-concept great room with spectacular ocean views, a recently renovated kitchen, and a spacious dining area ideal for family meals and celebrations. The kitchen includes two dishwashers, two refrigerators, two coffee makers, two griddles, a high powered blender, a full suite of kitchen tools, as well as a dedicated pantry area with separate cabinets so guests can organize their groceries by family if they desire. The dining areas comfortably seat a total of 25 guests. Up a half flight of stairs the ships watch loft offers an additional quiet retreat for puzzles and board games, while the second-floor den, first-floor recreation room with pool table and kitchenette, and dedicated theater room provide plenty of separate spaces for relaxation and entertainment.
Bedroom accommodations are spread across three levels:
• Level 1 features two ensuite bedrooms: one king bedroom and one bunk room with two duo bunk sets, along with the recreation room and theater room.
• Level 2 includes four ensuite bedrooms: two oceanside king bedrooms with ensuite, (one with deck access), a third and fourth bedroom, one king ensuite bedroom and one bedroom with two queen beds, that share a private deck. A den on this level provides another comfortable gathering space.
• Level 3 offers a spacious oceanside primary ensuite featuring a king bed, a duo bunk set, sitting area, ocean deck access and stunning ocean views.
Outdoor amenities make it easy to enjoy the best of the Outer Banks, including a fully fenced private pool with loungers and chairs for your whole group, as well as a hot tub located in the pool area, two levels of oceanfront decks, and direct beach access. If the dune presents an accessibility challenge for some of your party, our home is located just one house to the south of the fully ramped public beach walkway. The lifeguard for our community is also stationed just one house away at the beach end of the public walkway, adding an extra degree of peace of mind for guests enjoying an ocean swim. After a sandy beach day you can enjoy a hot outdoor shower and separate foot wash for easy clean up. Multiple Smart TVs throughout the home ensure everyone can catch their favorite shows or movies after a day in the sun. The home also provides a corn hole board and bags in the front lawn area, and a high quality, professionally maintained Wilmington gas grill is located just outside of the pool area.
One of the home’s most convenient features is the elevator, which is located just inside the first-floor access entry (New for 2026!) and serves all three levels. Whether you’re arriving with luggage, unloading groceries, or preparing for check-out, the elevator makes moving between floors simple and stress-free.
