Gather the entire family for an unforgettable vacation at “Mermaid’s Purse”! This home’s unique oceanfront location in southern Pine Island offers both breathtaking views of the ocean and stunning, unobstructed sound views. Along with the fantastic ocean and sound views, beaches are uncrowded, almost secluded, as this stretch of Pine Island has just one row of oceanfront homes.
On the home's top level, floor-to-ceiling windows in the bright great room allow the gorgeous ocean and sound views to fill the entire floor. Relax in the living area and watch a movie on the TV with surround sound, or affix your gaze onto the ocean and look for dolphins swimming by. The spacious and well-equipped kitchen is perfect for multiple cooks and offers countertop seating to keep the conversation flowing while meals are prepared. Choose your view when dining: the larger of the two dining areas is soundfront, offering sunset views with dinner. The smaller dining area is oceanfront, making it the perfect location for breakfast or coffee and sunrise, or step out onto the deck to enjoy your coffee and sunrise with an accompanying salty breeze. A half bathroom is also included on the top level for convenience.
The middle level of the home consists of three master bedrooms, each equipped with a private bathroom that includes a whirlpool tub. Two of the three master bedrooms offer deck access. There is also an open sitting area on the middle level.
The lower level of the home was designed with family fun in mind. There is one master bedroom with a private bathroom attached. Three additional bedrooms, as well as one full bathroom, can be found on the lower level. The pool table and an arcade game in the rec room will provide hours of fun each evening. The nearby media room serves as a place to relax and watch a show or a movie during breaks. The kitchenette in the rec room with a full-size refrigerator allows for cold drinks and snacks to be accessible without walking up the stairs to the top level.
Step outside to the pool area for some fun in the sun. Make a splash in the private pool, and relax at the covered poolside bar when you need a break from the sun. Gaze up at the stars in the dark night sky while relaxing in the hot tub. The beach is accessed via the walkway from the pool area, which includes a spacious dunetop deck that may be your favorite place to hang out on the Outer Banks. A vacation at “Mermaid’s Purse” is sure to leave you relaxed and rejuvenated!
