Spend your days taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean at the nearby beach access just a short walk from the home. Cool off in the 14’x33’ gated private pool or sunbathe on the pool deck. The screened porch is the perfect place to take in ocean breezes while enjoying the natural vegetation and wildlife of the Duck Research Pier property. At the end of the day, gather on the expansive decks with sound views to watch the sky light up at sunset. When night falls, relax in the hot tub while taking in unobstructed views of the spectacular OBX night sky.
When you’re not at the beach or pool, most of your family’s time together will be spent on the third floor in the great room, kitchen, and dining room. The kitchen is bright and well-stocked with the tools you need to prepare meals for the family. Guests can choose to enjoy dinner in the dining room, in the screened porch, or at the kitchen’s bar with seating. After dinner, enjoy a movie or game night together in the great room. Two of the home’s four bedrooms are masters which offer attached private bathrooms and deck access, providing comfort and privacy for adult couples in the group. Both masters are located on the lower level, as well as the home’s laundry facilities. Just above on level 2.5 are the remaining two bedrooms which share a full hall bath.

The view of the sound made up for no view of the ocean, and the trade-off of a longer distance to the beach just meant more fun bike rides. "Very nice home...great location...close to town and beach. Some small things would go a long way in this home. A working grill (impossible to control temp on the Weber), screens that were intact, a clean screened porch, and vacuuming the pool midweek when midges are around. All in all, we were very happy...great common space and good bedrooms. We made memories to last a lifetime."
