"Sunny Duck" is truly a "beach house" - reminiscent of relaxed days at the beach in an earlier time yet outfitted with modern amenities. Uniquely located close to the ocean and on a high elevation, "Sunny Duck" offers impressive ocean views from the second and third level decks. Enjoy sea breezes from the oceanside wrap-around porch with a gate that also overlooks the optionally heated private pool. The hot tub on the pool patio sets the scene for relaxation. The private pool has a shaded deck with table, chairs and recliners.
With its spacious design, “Sunny Duck” offers many places to spread out and escape. The six bedrooms and common area are decorated with furnishings, light fixtures, and wall hangings that enhance the coastal setting and provide a comfortable and relaxing environment for guests of all tastes. All bedrooms have been upgraded with smart televisions.
There’s a game room with pool table, pool cues, two smart televisions, couch seating, wet bar, full-size refrigerator and 28 bottle wine cooler. The theater room offers surround sound and lounge seating. A den/study with sofa is available for quiet time - perfect for reading or watching a game on the TV. Improved internet service and a printer have been added to the property as well. The expansive windows in the great room bring the outdoors in. Kitchen conveniences include a pantry, two dishwashers, two refrigerators, two sinks, a two-tiered island and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is well-stocked with the equipment you’ll need to make entertaining for your family easy and fun. The elevator to all levels offers added accessibility. A grill is located outside on the bottom level for family barbeques.
Whether you enjoy relaxing by the ocean, hanging at the pool, soaking up the sun, enjoying the media entertainment or reading a book, you will know you are at the beach when you visit "Sunny Duck."

The home had everything we needed for the kitchen, beach and pool. Everything was meticulously labeled and organized. The beach carts were extremely helpful for the short walk to the beach. Location was perfect for evenings on the Duck boardwalk. Finally, the sunrises were stunning with panoramic views of the ocean. This is a home we will absolutely be back to in the coming years!!"

"Sunny Duck was a perfect home away from home for our extended family which included children from 1-11. The home is well kept and very organized. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Two dishwashers and two refrigerators in the kitchen were so nice to have with a large group. The ocean views were beautiful and close proximity to the beach access was great. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and theatre room which had a large and varied selection of movies to enjoy. We have been coming to Duck for many years and Sunny Duck is definitely our favorite house!"

"Sunny Duck is well designed and comfy. Everything inside is good quality, the furniture, the kitchen appliances and cookware. The rooms are good sizes too. Beds were comfy. The upstairs TV was a little complicated to use. We used the hot tub almost everyday and it worked well. The grill worked but its seen better days. And the outside could use a little more attention. True, OBX has a midge fly problem, but the true enemy are the spiders that trap midges from who knows how long ago, and it makes the outside of buildings looks terrible. You will find that in shopping areas of OBX they don’t clean and it shows. In spite of this Sunny Duck is still a gem. Perfect distance from the beach. We loved it and would book again."
"This home has it all! It is beautifully decorated with a lot of space. Our family of 11 had all the accommodations it could possibly need. The kitchen is spacious with two refrigerators and dishwashers and plenty of counter space for making meals. The pool is a great addition! The location is perfect for walking to the beach and also close to the off road access in Corolla. Unfortunately, we were unable to use all of the beautiful porches due to the bugs this year, but the view from the top deck is wonderful. HIghly recommend!"
