Ratings & Reviews
This home was GREAT. Very clean and plenty of room. The pool was very nice and heated to just the right temperature. We were able to easily walk to shopping in Duck and we were also very close to beach access. Had a great time here and hope to get back to this house and OBX in the future.

Excellent location and house is well maintained. We have stayed in this house in the past, and will again.

A well-maintained house full of everything we wanted! Lots of space to spread out when inside. Bedrooms, kitchen & bathrooms more than adequate. Loved having the ice machine to fill our water containers before beach visits. Easy to walk to town and the beach! WONDERFUL time & this house was perfect for our family of 12. Hoping to return in 2018.

We have been renting the house every summer for over six years. It is a nice house, we like the amenities and the location to the beach which is why we keep coming back to it every year.

We loved all the features offered in the home - telescope in the upstairs lookout, pool table, theatre room, poolside BB hoop, hammock, outdoor cabana w/ nice grill (which was clean - yeah!!), elevator, putting green (& Kilmarlic discount), closeness to the beach & shops. Although not new, things were in working condition, clean, and comfortable. We loved the pool-side hammock and chairs (very comfortable).

Previous homes we've rented had a supply of beach chairs and umbrellas. I know these aren't listed as "standard" items but perhaps one of the guests could respond whether there is any beach furniture available for use.
Every Twiddy home provides 5 beach chairs. Items such as umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys, and carts are not standard amenities. If you would like to rent additional beach equipment, Just for the Beach, Moneysworth, and Ocean Atlantic Rentals all provide this service. For contact information, please visit www.twiddy.com/activities/services.aspx.

Hello! How would we access the beach? Are tags required? Can we drive on the beach? Are dogs allowed on? Thank You!
Great questions, Lorraine! There is a beach access straight down the road from this home! If you view the "Where's the Beach" option located under the homes pictures, you will see the home number B262 and the beach access just South of the home. There is a 4x4 beach located on the Northern most part of the Outer Banks that you are more than welcome to drive your 4x4 vehicle, with no driving tags or permits required. For more information on the 4x4 area please visit www.twiddy.com/homes/4x4/. Dogs are also allowed on the Outer Banks beaches but the leash laws do vary. Please visit www.twiddy.com/pet-friendly-rentals.aspx for leash laws in this area.

Is the shower shown in photo 18 the roll-in one? It would be helpful if photos of the accessible amenities were available on these galleries.
Thank you for your inquiry, Karen! The photo of the bathroom (Image #18) in the slideshow is not the Level 2 handicap friendly roll-in shower. Unfortunately, we do not have any available photos of the handicap friendly bathroom. The bathroom shown in Image #18 is located in the Level 3 Master Bedroom with a king bed. Please let us know if we may answer any additional questions for you.
