Welcome to “Sweet Summertime,” your oceanfront retreat on the Outer Banks! Enjoy a swim in the heated pool, relaxing with your friends in the hot tub, or sunrise walks on the beach while vacationing in this wonderful 8 bedroom home. Sweet Summertime is located directly on the ocean in the heart of Duck. Walk or bike into town to get a bite to eat, do some shopping, or stroll on the sound front board walk. Or better yet, just enjoy an ice cream cone with your family and friends as you watch the sunset! In addition to the fabulous location, this comfortable home features four levels of living space and many amenities, inside and out, that will make your family’s OBX vacation memorable.
The home’s main living space is located on the third floor. The great room is bright and open, allowing the panoramic ocean views to fill the room. Relax and catch up with loved ones in the comfortable living area, with a gas fireplace available for use during the cooler months of the year. Two additional sitting areas in the great room offer spaces to curl up with a good book or plan for the day ahead. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that you need to prepare meals for the duration of your stay, including two ovens. Nearby, the dining area boasts a custom 16 person table and is situated so you can enjoy the gorgeous ocean views during meals. Step outside with your morning coffee to watch a beautiful Outer Banks sunrise over the ocean. A half bathroom completes the third level.
Four additional bedrooms are available on the second floor of the home. There is one master bedroom, which includes a private bathroom and deck access. Three additional bedrooms, two with deck access, and two full bathrooms can also be found on the second level. A large laundry room is conveniently located for your use.
The three remaining bedrooms are located on the ground floor. There are two master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, as well as one additional bedroom and full bathroom. Many evenings of fun will be had in the rec room as people gather for cards, games, bumper pool and arcade. The rec room also includes a wet bar and sitting area with a large TV. This leads out to a large pool area complete with polywood furniture, canvas swings and the poolside “Bar at the end of the World”. Play ping pong, cornhole, our simply soak up the sunshine with your family and friends. Be on the lookout for dolphins as you relax on the oceanfront dune deck. In the evening, enjoy a glass of wine on one of the many oceanfront decks or sit in the hot tub and take in the ocean views. Make vacation memories at “Sweet Summertime” on the Duck oceanfront!
