Furniture really needs to be updated. The little party room off the dining area is unique. TV and cable out there don’t work due to moisture. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and it’s super convenient location off the living room. Also love the outdoor shower, swing and hammock. I’d definitely book this house again."

"Comfortable house with lots of charm. We especially liked the location, so close to the beach and to the shopping in Duck. We always travel with our two small dogs, and were happy they were comfortable in this home. The house is showing some signs of its age, and a few repairs and/or upgrades would make a big difference. For example, the stairs should be repaired or replaced as should the carpet in the living room. Overall a great value. We would stay again."
"This is my second stay at Sandy Dune and I have reserved it for another year. In all my years coming to the OBX this home really does provide everything I need in a rental home, as it is one level, allows me to bring my dogs and is close to everything Duck.❤️🙂❤️"
"The Sandy Dune was the perfect vacation home for our family of four plus one fur baby. The one floor layout was great for our 10 month old baby on the move and there was plenty of space to spread out in the bedrooms and main living area. The kitchen was great too—more spacious than other houses. Our only complaint is that there weren’t many glasses for drinking!"

"We loved the location which was a short walk to the beach. The house was very clean with no dog odor. We also liked the layout of the house. However, the rug in the dining and living area needs to be replaced. The rug was frayed in places and had numerous stains on it. If the rug is replaced, we would book again."

"I stayed here for 3 weeks while working remotely and couldn't have been happier! My pup and I enjoyed our morning walks on the beach and drinking coffee and sunbathing on large decks. The home is very well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen. Great location with a quick walk (.2 miles) to the beach and about .5 miles to the shops in Scarborough Faire, coffee and pastries at Tullio's, and dinner with a sunset view at NC Coast and Aqua. Looks like they are renovating the separate room in the lower area with 1/2 bath."
