Gather the family for a memorable vacation at “Salty Duck II” on the oceanfront! Recently constructed in 2023 and located directly on the beach, stunning ocean views are available from many areas of the home, both inside and outside. A calming coastal aesthetic and top amenities combine to offer a relaxing and fun vacation experience for your family.
The gorgeous ocean view is on full display in the great room on the third floor, which is the home’s main gathering space. There are two comfortable and attractive living areas in the great room. Relax and catch up with loved ones in the living area closest to the kitchen, which also includes a card table, perfect for putting together a puzzle throughout your stay. In the other living area, gather the family for movie night after the sun sets. A gas fireplace is available to keep you warm during the cooler months of the year. Outside on the sun deck, enjoy a beautiful Outer Banks sunrise while sipping your morning coffee or watch the waves roll in at any time of day. Getting luggage and groceries from the lowest level up to the third floor is a breeze using the elevator. The kitchen is as functional as it is attractive. Two ovens, a gas range, and plenty of counter space are a dream for the cooks in your group. The kitchen island features a beverage refrigerator, additional sink, and barstool seating. Enjoy meals together at the large table in the dining area nearby. Two dishwasher stations are a huge help when cleaning up after big family meals. There is one ensuite bedroom on the third floor of the home, which includes a private bathroom.
On the middle level of the home, the den serves as an additional place to relax and watch TV. In addition, there is an office space that is perfect for checking in with school or the office, but you may catch yourself gazing out the window at the beautiful ocean. There are three ensuite bedrooms on the second floor, each with a private bathroom. One of the bedrooms is oceanfront, with a gas fireplace, great ocean view, and access to the covered deck.
The final ensuite bedroom can be found on the ground floor of the home and also includes a private bathroom. Kids will adore the built-in bunk beds and the additional seating that is perfect for curling up with a good book. The rec room on the ground floor is furnished for relaxation and play. Enjoy a round or two at the ping pong table before sitting down to enjoy your favorite show. Stock the nearby wet bar with full refrigerator with snacks and drinks so refreshments can always be available. A half bathroom is also available on the ground floor.
Just outside of the rec room, relax and unwind in the hot tub while you listen to the waves crash nearby. Take a dip in the refreshing private pool or simply lounge around in the sunshine. A variety of outdoor seating options are available, both in the sunshine and in the shade. When you’re ready to stick your toes in the sand, take a stroll along the elevated private walkway to the beach, which features a dune deck. Built-in seating on the dune deck is the perfect place to relax and watch the pelicans fly by or look out for dolphins.
Take a stroll or short bike ride into Duck Village for a good meal, unique shopping, or live music. Conveniently charge your car at the home, as there is an electric vehicle charger available for use. The golfers in your group will receive reduced greens fees at Kilmarlic Golf Club. “Salty Duck II” is waiting for you and your family to make Outer Banks vacation memories!
