"Very happy with the house - clean, tidy and enough room for our group of 10 adults and 5 children. It’s an easy walk (about a 1/4 mile on a paved path) to an area of the beach that was not overly crowded. Pool and hot tub were cleaned and well-maintained. Kitchen had the necessities and more than enough dish ware for 12 people. Washer and dryer were clean and in good working condition. The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance (about a 10min walk) from the boardwalk and shops in Duck. Would recommend for a family vacation!"

"We had a great week at Duck Hatchery! Like other reviewers stated, the house could use a little updating and TLC but overall the rooms were nice and it was great that each room on the second and third floors had their own bathroom. The lower level with game and bunk room was like a mini apartment for the kids. The pool itself was perfect but the lounge chairs could have used a good cleaning or replacement. I did reach out to Twiddy regarding the lack of beach chairs (there were only 2 that were usable) and they had 3 delivered within 24 hours, as well as a few other minor mishaps (running toilet, wasp nest) and they were so fast and responsive. Twiddy is one of the best management companies I have ever used! We would definitely consider staying here again! The Four Seasons community is a terrific perk and the amenities were spectacular, especially with a lot of kids!"
"Overall the home was great! The two refrigerators were great at holding all the food for our group of 16! It was a short walk to the shops and restaurants and a little longer walk to the beach. The pictures of the house make it look larger than it actually is in person. The kitchen and living room areas were too small for our group. The house was very clean and the pool area was great. I wish the volleyball court had been kept in better shape as it was overgrown with weeds. Even though there were enough beds for our large group, the common spaces were too small for a group our size."
"great location between the ocean & town. 4th year we rented this house & love it but time for a little TLC. nothing major but a few torn screens, a table lamp that didn’t work & a slider that didn’t lock. biggest issue was metal pool chairs need some cushions & pool lounge chairs need to be cleaned. hopefully coming back next year"
"We were all very comfortable, our dog is afraid of steps & loved the elevator! House is in a great location, we really enjoyed the walks to & from the beach. A few items in house need replacing, screens & MBR lampshade and minor things like that. We would rent again and again!!"

"This house was perfect for our family vacation! The kitchen is well supplied with everything you could ever need....just bring food and drinks! The elevator was a great way to get all your supplies and elderly family members to every floor. We did have an issue with the elevator (user error) and Twiddy had someone out there within an hour to help us! The pool is awesome and the volleyball area was a plus....plenty of room for the cornhole players in our family. The walks to the beach and sound was easy on the walkway right next to the house. The trolley was also a great way to get to the beach! The neighborhood is beautiful. We all had an amazing time!"
"This home can accommodate a lot of people with beds in every nook and cranny. It could probably use some updating but overall, we were very happy with our stay. Nice pool area with a great grill. There were a couple of issues with the house during our stay but Twiddy was extremely responsive and took care of the problems quickly. It was a great value and we had a great week! Four seasons neighborhood is fantastic with a lot of nice amenities. This home is right next to the path that leads to the beach."
"Everything you need! The path to the beach is 8 feet from the house, 0.4 mile bike or walk to beach on a safe path. No streets to cross. The Other direction on the path takes you to the town which is about 1/4 of a mile. Quiet and private but so close to everything."
