About Bias Shores

Bias Shores is a ocean-to-sound community located just south of Duck village, providing a perfect place to take a stroll, grab a bite to eat, or shop in unique stores. After a fun-filled day, watch a breathtaking sunset over the peaceful Currituck Sound on the community's private pier. Community pool and tennis courts are also available for guests to enjoy.

Amenities are available prior to check-in. Guests may use this community's amenities while waiting for their vacation home to be ready, however, passes are required. Pick up passes at the Twiddy office.

Please roll receptacles to the curb the night before the scheduled collection day.

Between May 1 - September 30, a community service provider will roll all receptacles back to the homes following collection.

Off-season recycling is on the 1st & 3rd Monday of the month only.

Community Rules
  • No street parking.
  • Parking passes are required from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Towing is enforced.
  • Golf carts are to be parked in a designated parking space and must display a parking pass. Carts parked on the grass or roadside are subject to towing.
  • There is a vendor that rolls all trash and recycle cans back to the homes following trash pick-up (Mondays and Fridays, May-September)
  • Personal belongings, including beach equipment, are not to be left on the beach or sound side walkway. Items left are subject to removal by maintenance.
  • There are dog bag dispensers throughout the community. Used dog bags should be discarded of properly.
