Guest recommendations
"Loved the arrangement of the bedrooms ( shared bathrooms, cave like room on first floor) and the main floor was big enough for all of us."
"The neighborhood: access to the community center and walking distance to the beach plus so close to places for meals and treats. The house itself was clean and spacey. The layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for our family. We all agreed that this was the best house and location we have had."
"Port Zelande was the perfect home for us. It was cozy, private (but still in the middle of everything,) clean, and the pictures didn’t do it justice. We loved the hot tub, the 4 decks, and the close distance to the community pool and the boardwalk/shops in Duck. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen had all the amenities we’d need for the week. Twiddy was such a breeze to rent from and we can’t wait to stay again and make more memories!!"
"This is a great home for families with children. We have been staying here for years and the house needs a little TLC. It looks like some work was done to upgrade the home. Would love filtered water in the refrigerator— with so many people using water bottles at home and at the beach, it would have made the visit even better. The tap water tastes brackish, otherwise we would drink it. The home is close to the rec center and two of the three pools in Schooner Ridge. Close enough to walk to shops, restaurants, and beach. We rented bikes for some to get to the beach quicker. Love the configuration of second floor ‘parents’ rooms being next to the ‘kids’’ rooms."
"Nice comfortable home for the price. Bathrooms could use updating. For those of you who plan on grilling. There are no grilling tools!! This is the third time We rented this house. I have made the comment about no grilling tools for the third time now. There are grill cleaners hanging everywhere in the car port, but no long grilling tongs or burger flipper."
"This was a great vacation house to stay in. The layout was nice. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need. There were 4 decks to enjoy. 2 covered and 2 on the top floor open to everything. The hot tub is on the top deck in the back of the house, off the kitchen. Every room had a tv, which was nice. And a very nice ample supply of board games, kids games and various card games. The dining table can fit 12, which is how many of us there were in our group. Twiddy was awesome at communicating and helping us. The icing on the cake is all the amenities included with the community. This house is a must."
"Our family really enjoyed the house last week! Good layout, plenty of space, well-supplied kitchen. A bit of a long walk to the beach, but we needed the exercise! Nice to be able to walk to the Soundside boardwalk for sunsets!!"
