Recent Poteskeet Village Area Reviews

It was a perfect get away home for our situation. My sister and her family our night owls, while my husband and I are early to bed and early to rise. The two living areas made for a harmonious vacation. We could all get together upstairs for meals and visiting. After hours, the downstairs sitting room allowed them to continue watching tv or play one of the many board games.

Review for Somerset Heath, in Poteskeet Village, NC.

Somerset Heath is a great house, located in a perfect location. It is a mid-point between the beach and the town. Wee Winks at the beginning of Wampum is so convenient! We could get most of our groceries there when we first arrived so we didn't get caught up in that traffic. Nice, quiet street and a great view from the upper deck. Our family loves going there every year!! So does Cooper, our dog!!

Review for Somerset Heath, in Poteskeet Village, NC.

Our first home, Blueberry Hill, had a severe mold and mildew problem, so much that 2 of my family members became ill. We could really tell the difference after we moved into our second home the second week, Somerset Heath. This second home was beautiful with updated appliances in full working order; a pleasure to stay! I noticed that Blueberry Hill was up for sale. I guess the owners are tired of keeping it up. In that case, they should not be renting it in the state that it is in. Or, it should have been rented a a discount. But, most importantly, people will get sick from the mold and mildew if this house continues to be rented out in the condition it is in.

Review for Somerset Heath, in Poteskeet Village, NC.

The house had great views from all 4 bedrooms--we really liked that they all had sliding glass doors to the deck. The view from the living area windows were great! We also being at the end of a quiet street. There was enough seating for all five of our visitors and we liked the open living/dining/kitchen.

Review for Sea View, in Poteskeet Village, NC.

Somerset Heath was a great fit for our family. Lots of twin beds. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, mugs, silverware, cutlery and pots and pans. Cooking in was a breeze. The big deck and outdoor furniture made the home especially nice. The walk to the beach was not too far and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly. It was nice to arrive to a clean, neat home. Being close to the Duck shops and boardwalk was great. Dogs being allowed on the beach was a fun experience. We would visit again without question!
