"We had another spectacular week at Six Lucky Ducks. The house is so comfortable for our large family. Plenty of space for everyone - the pool and cabana are wonderful sun and shade areas, and the decks provide relaxing space where you can still watch the fun. Indoors the kitchen has plenty of dishes and cooking supplies to make meal-prep a breeze. And the walk to the beach is close enough for all ages to manage."

"The home had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms were all very nice. We had the pool heated and enjoyed it almost everyday. The cabana was amazing, a great place to rest from the sun and serve cocktails. We had a fantastic week! We would definitely choose Six Lucky Ducks again."

"The location of the house was great and the backyard was perfect and made our stay very enjoyable. The lower level bedroom and bath had a more than normal number of centipedes and spiders. The lower level did not have a thermostat (at least we could not find one) making the room very cold especially at night. The front driveway filled with water after a rain and did not fully drain for a couple of days leaving access inhibited and a muddy mess after. The grass was not cut when we arrived and was not cut while we where there leaving it 6-8 inches tall. Not an attractive appearance in a well manicured neighborhood. Should think about some small awning over the two lower level doors to the pool. When it rains a large amount of water drains right over the doors making it impossible not to track water into the house. Hot water demand sometimes can’t be met."
Thank you’re comments. We have a pest control company and if you were to notify twiddy they will come and treat. That said, bugs are an issue everywhere in OBX. Lawn is concerning and I will report to my lawn guy. Should be cut weekly in season.The 2nd-floor thermostat controls the bottom 2 floors. I’ll look at changing if possible. I don’t know if it’s possible or not. We strive to provide quality items like the patio pool furniture etc, as we want guests have a quality stay.
