"We loved the layout with plenty of places for people to spread out. The pool and hot tub were great as was the theater room. My grand kids took advantage of the game room. Bedrooms were large and all had en suite bathrooms. Kitchen, dining and living room were spacious and was a great common place to gather."

"Size and spaciousness. The “den” could easily be transformed into a king or queen bedroom; we did not use the room at all, but would’ve had it been a bedroom. We simply loved all of the games, I.e. pool table, basketball, the pool and hot tub. Access to beach via the walkway over the dune, beach and trash services, fully stocked kitchen and dining areas. Overall the best OBX home we have occupied in 40 of vacationing there - first time on Corolla."

"The house was a fun experience with the game room and the theatre room. The grandkids enjoyed both. Beds were comfy and the rooms were pretty well appointed. Plenty of plates, glasses and cooking utensils, pots and pans. We had a great view and a great week."

"The new pool wet bar! The new mini bar downstairs and all the abundance of very nice plastic wear to drink and eat with! Very safe considering the pool which was extremely convenient for my younger children because it was shallow on each end and went at a gentle slope to the middle which was not too deep! And all of the games in the garage especially the arcade game with all the many games like frogger and galaga! And the elevator was extremely convenient. The movie theater was more impressive than I expected!"

"We vacationed at the same rental home that we got married in 8 years ago. Even though it had to be practically rebuilt due to a fire, it was still as beautiful and comfortable as before. We celebrated and relaxed with close friends and family- the view, included amenities, and proximity to the shore all made our stay delightful! We plan to return."

"The House layout and location was great. The kitchen exhaust did not work and the utensils and cooking tools were not great . Pots and Pans were somewhat beat up and limited, especially when a house of this size is hosting a large group. This House could have been maintained a bit better. We cleaned the kitchen better than the way we found it."
"This home is beautiful, with absolutely breathtaking views of both the ocean & sound. We recently hosted our very small wedding here, and it was everything we could’ve hoped for. However, there was a substantial special event fee that was imposed, and I thought it would’ve went towards sprucing the place up a bit- (deep clean, fixing the 2 broken sliding doors that were being held shut by a block of wood, getting black scuffs off multiple walls, clearing the pool area of cigar butts & other trash from previous tenants, getting black fingers prints off the doors), but that wasn’t the case- we did all of that (aside from fixing the doors) ourselves prior to the wedding- not sure what the fee was for? Possibly incidentals? Also, there are some areas of the home that need way more attention- mostly the outside gardens. Other than that, we do have plans to rent this property again... and have given other family & friends the rental info, as they too wish to book in the future. Also, the home owner had a tower of pies delivered from Tommy’s market in Duck, which was a nice, and unexpected treat!"
"We had a great week in this home. The views both front and back were incredible for sunrise and sunset - breathtaking. The pool area needs more lounge chairs and a new refrigerator. We had a few other minor issues, but all in all would recommend this property."
"The house was outstanding. Of all the Outer Banks houses in which we stayed, this one had the most spectacular views. You felt like you were on top of the ocean, but also had the Sound out the front of the house. It’s hard to beat the magnificent sunrises and sunsets."
"This home worked perfectly for our family. The lower level game area was perfect for our grandkids and the mid level with its pool table provided fun and rooms for everyone else. The kitchen with multiple ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and commercial ice makers had everything we needed. The pies sent by the owners were a nice touch. Wonderful home."
