At "Les Dunes", families have the ability to spread out between two residences in order to enjoy the space which they deserve. Multiple generations are encouraged to gather together for the ultimate beach retreat of - family games, dolphin and praying mantis hunts, football on the front lawn or quiet time with a book in the poolside gazebo.

Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac within the prestigious, oceanfront, gated-community of Palmer's Island, this estate is one of the only properties on the Outer banks with an Audubon reserve on two sides and views of the Atlantic Ocean and Currituck Sound. Expansive grounds truly allow for the utmost in seclusion, particularly because there are no neighbors on three sides of the estate.
Superior outdoor amenities complement expansive landscaped clearings and consist of a private pool and hot tub, gazebo, and a large screened and shaded patio with two picnic tables. The area is perfect for al fresco dining for 18-20 people and is equipped with a utility sink, bar, and BBQ grill. All elements work together seamlessly to offer the best in outdoor living. Your group will also enjoy the shade of multiple screened porches, where they may relax and enjoy pristine coastal scenery.
The gorgeous main home is decorated in an elegant, layered style with hints of Colonial and French Country chic. The hardwood oak floors, Spanish terracotta tiles and wainscoting throughout the home add touches of European charm and beauty.

Les Dunes was absolutely incredible. The privacy was nothing I have seen in 14 years renting in the OBX, it was like we were on our own private island. The beds were also the very best we have encountered in the OBX. The Viking double oven/cooktop and Sub-Zero appliances were just what we were looking for?? The guest house was also incredible and will book this house again without question. Can't wait to come back! P.S.S The kuerig machines were a plus and the upper outdoor screened dining area was awesome. I could go on and on!
