"Loved that it was clean and well stocked. Had good outdoor furniture and beach chairs. The beds were comfortable and already made. Every bedroom has its own bathroom with extra towels. Elevator was great. Sonos sound system was terrific!"

"Fantastic oceanfront home! The house was very comfortable with decks and wide windows to take advantage of the beautiful 180-degree oceanfront view. Very comfortable living with large bedrooms, multiple ensuite baths, and several living areas. Very well furnished decorated in all aspects including comfortable and stylish furniture, multiple larger screen TV. a hot tub, pool table etc.. We enjoyed it all. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped and lacks nothing. Just an outstanding place to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends. Highly recommended!"

"My family n friends have been vacationing in OBX for many years. We arrived at our rental and were blown away by the stunning view seen through the large glass windows. This home was so comfortable from the well equipped kitchen to the enjoyable pool with its lite landscape. We all agreed that the "Windswept" was the best home we'd vacationed in and have already planned our return in 2023. Thank you to the owners for providing such a comfortable vacation home and to Twiddy for providing us with a worry free and beautiful vacation."

"The bedrooms and bathrooms are laid out to allow maximum privacy while the open spaces (living/dining/kitchen and game room) allow for family gatherings. The theater room is fun. The pool and hot tub araa are nicely landscaped and accessible. The decks are great for viewing the ocean (and spotting dolphins which we saw several times during our month stay)."

"We had a wonderful vacation at the Windswept. The location could not have been better and beach access was very convenient. Just walk out the back gate to the beach access. Kitchen was large and very well equipped. Bathrooms were also well maintained and the layout of the home was perfect. Beds were comfortable and Twiddy could not have been a better company to rent from. Responsive and very quick with any maintenance needs. There were a couple of suggestions we would like to make as a large party of 4 families. We felt like the water pressure could have been better- 2 people could not shower at the same time. Outside area was well maintained, but with 4 families using the foot wash at the gate it got muddy. We would like to suggest paving that area. It would also be nice to move the hot tub out from under the house- while the shade is great, that space would have been better used as a tiki bar or outdoor kitchen. The outside chairs could also use a good power wash or replacement. Last but not least- the upstairs couch is is need of an update- cushions either need to be re-stuffed or replaced. Overall- a wonderful vacation- we look forward to visiting again and enjoying the amazing views."

"Wonderful location. Spacious rooms. Love the 2 dishwashers. Appreciated the immediate attention paid to the ac malfunction when we arrived. A few spots (crumbs and Cheerios in couch cushions) that cleaners missed, but overall a lovely house with so many nice amenities that we are booking again for next year!"

"Another fantastic week at the Windswept!! We only had a couple of nice weather days but it didn’t stop us from making the lifelong memories! Breathtaking ocean views and dolphin sightings almost daily! We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and our niece and nephews birthdays. We can’t wait to stay again next year!"

"We stayed here in March 2021. The home was beautiful and the view was amazing! The projector in the theater room when we checked in wouldn’t work, and the repairman Twiddy sent couldn’t fix it either so we couldn’t use it our entire stay which was a huge disappointment since the weather was pretty cold. The instructions for using the rest of the TVs were pretty confusing and we consider ourselves somewhat tech savvy. I also didn’t like being right next to a public walkway to the beach; it took away some privacy. And the lawn crew was in the backyard before 8 am on a Monday morning edging and weed wacking which was loud and annoying. The positives were the beds were comfy, bathrooms were spacious, plenty of room in the house for our 5 kids to spread out, arcade game was fun, kitchen was amazing, and the elevator was a nice convenience."

"The home was lovely. I do have a suggestion for the huge window in the dining area. The sun is so hot coming in there that it makes that whole living area unpleasant. It would be a shame to cover this area but drapes like the other window could be the answer. Otherwise, the house was a GREAT choice."

"Beautiful home, excellent location, gorgeous views of the ocean from middle and upper levels, great walk in showers, fully stocked kitchen, spacious area around the pool, large washer and dryer, the elevator makes it convenient to transport luggage and groceries to the upper levels, nice theatre. Would definitely recommend this home and look forward to staying again."
