On Tidal Time
GOL137Welcome to "On Tidal Time". This house was originally built in 2015 and has been linked to Twiddy as the management company since the beginning. This is not just a rental house but is also our second home as our family spends multiple weeks there every year. Twiddy even assisted in the original design and location of this property. The reason this is important, is because we not only wanted it to be able to accommodate our family but also be a best in class for anyone renting it. The question we asked Twiddy was; "what is the top complaint from renters?" The #1 complaint was distance to the beach. That drove the lot selected for "On Tidal Time". When you exit the front of the house it is only ten steps until you are on the boardwalk to cross over the dunes to get to the beach. What great advice as it's so convenient to go back and get that one thing you forgot, have to use the bathroom or maybe wanted to check on something cooking in the oven. In addition to this item, we also added an elevator (my back thanks them every time I have to carry another case of water upstairs), an ice machine so there's plenty of ice for every cooler, in-ground pool (select your own favorite lighting color for a late night swim) and hot tub. In addition, most may not realize that the house was designed so there would be no common walls between any of the bedrooms, to ensure maximum privacy for personal conversations. Level two of the house has a wraparound porch with both chairs and rockers so you can watch over the backyard or walk around and watch all the comings and goings to the beach. This location was also selected to make sure there would always be a view of the ocean since that boardwalk crossing the dunes, is centered with the upstairs main living area. We also decided to add a screened-in portion of the upstairs deck with a picnic table, adjacent to the upstairs main living area, next to the kitchen. This has become a perfect place where the kids prefer to eat, and late-night card games are played without the interference of fly's/mosquitoes. On the ground floor there is a pool table, an arcade cocktail table that will accommodate two players, containing all of the classic games, a large TV and a closet we stock at the beginning of every season with board games and puzzles that offers endless opportunities for fun, while community features such as a very large pool and tennis courts make for an ideal destination. Local shopping and restaurants are nearby. Experience the vacation of a lifetime “On Tidal Time.”
