"Lakeside Breeze was a lovely home on a number of different fronts. Our group enjoyed the interesting interior spiral layout, the size of the rooms, the appointments of the interior, and since we cook every meal for our trip, we found the kitchen and dining areas to comfortably accommodate a group or eight adults. The true selling point to the home though in my opinion is the beautiful lake directly adjacent to the home. Our trip had windy conditions that kept us from the beach for a couple days so we camped out by the very nice pool area, and had that enjoyment enriched by the beautiful lakefront environs. A couple of folks in our group brought their dogs down and the lake area became a park like path for them to be able to comfortably and easily walk their dogs around a medium sized (about a half mile circuit) nature preserve, complete with turtles, fish, and even an egret that we got to watch from the back porch. And speaking of, watching the sunset from the back porch of the home over the lake area was a real treat. I'd never thought having a lake front would become a requisite at a beach house, but that now does seem to be the case. Aside from the gushing, details for future pragmatic families staying at Lakeside Breeze should know the home is fully functional for two cooks in the kitchen working on any given evening, the beach is about 1000ft or a five minute walk. For elderly members in your party know that there are some potentially formidable stairs required to cross the dune onto the beach. Additionally for eight adults some rooms are more child oriented so a couple adult folks made do in smaller bunk sized sleeping situations, which worked out fine for our party. Overall, we really enjoyed the unexpected utility of the lake for walking, socializing, and dog related stuff. The home itself was a really good fit for us, and the service from Twiddy was also very timely, friendly, and attentive. The house might work better for a smaller group than ours or one with kids, but this home was terrific for our group of eight adults and we look forward to a future stay. Thanks guys!"

"This was our second year renting Lakeside Breeze. We love the location of the house - overlooking the lake and just a few minutes walk to the beach. The way that the house is situated with the pool area backing the lake affords you plenty of privacy. Many of the other homes we have rented are very open to the neighbors in the backyard , giving you no privacy. The house is also very spacious allowing us plenty of room for our growing family."

We’d love to see a table and umbrella added out by the pool to enjoy some shade and an area to eat lunch at. The bikes were a nice add on as well. "The best thing about the house was the location. Very private and quiet. The living room furniture was comfortable but could use another love seat. The bathrooms and kitchen definitely need some updating/TLC. (New showerheads aren't that expensive) Plenty of deck furniture - I wish there had been a few chaise lounges on the top deck. I would rent this house again if I knew some of the updates were done."
