"The house was beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean! All appliances were in great working order. Loved the industrial icemaker on the first level. Plenty of refrigerators for food & drinks. Huge six-burner gas cooktop. Lots of tables and plenty of room in all seating areas. Kids loved the lazy river. Proximity to the beach was perfect. Great ocean views from the 2nd & 3rd levels. House itself is located in a great spot close to everything. Two grocery stores within 1/4 mile of the house. Plenty of parking. Big dumpsters that hold tons of trash. The elevator really came in handy. Three outdoor grills made it convenient to cook large quantities of food at one time. Really enjoyed the outdoor TV while cooking on the grills."

"The lazy river was fantastic! We loved having the bathroom outside, and the elevator was great for our handicapped grandmother. We loved the theatre room and the kids did too! The house kept the kids so entertained!"

"Aphrodite was everything we hoped for and more. We had 11 families, 50 people for a week of memories. The house never, ever felt crowded. Everyone had their own bathroom, which is clutch. We had three theme nights for dinner, and the kitchen accommodated us perfectly. If we ever had to leave the house, it was to Food Lion, about 3 minutes away. The gazebo up on the dunes is the perfect spot to leave your beach stuff, so you don’t have to lug it all everyday. I am sad the trip is over. Memories we will have forever."

"Our crew of 50 stayed at Aphrodite for a family beach vacation. Despite looking at the house online pretty much daily for 22 months beforehand, it was even more impressive in person! The lazy river was used infinitely more than we could have predicted. There is even an outdoor TV and seating area that isn't shown online. The decks and gazebo gave all of us a beautiful ocean view, and everything was accessible via elevator for our less mobile folks. Even though we had a few storms, our excitement never ceased. We loved playing games together in all of the communal spaces, including the theater room. Everyone having their own ensuite bathroom made for a comfortable stay. Twiddy was responsive to the few small hiccups we had with southern hospitality (but "northerner" speed!)."

"My family and I stayed in Aphrodite the week of Halloween 2021. It was an amazing experience! Great views, Twiddy had great communication and plenty of space for my family to move around. I am glad only a few members of the family came into the house before all bedrooms were filled, the property was having some issue with the internet and pool. I do appreciate the house being serviced in a timely manner! We will definitely be booking again!"

"We came to OBX June 2020 and stayed at Aphrodite! Oh my goodness!!! It was an amazing home! Our daughter got married out on the beach down from the house and everything was perfect!!! We loved everything about this house!!! The pool was awesome! All ages enjoyed themselves, everyone also loved the theatre! This home is massive, beautifully decorated and so comfortable!!!! It was also very clean and well stocked!!! We had the rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception at this house!!! Everyone had a blast.... even the neighbors celebrated with us!!! Best vacation ever!!! We won’t be able to stay in any other house, ever!!! Aphrodite is perfect!!!"
