The great room on the top level of the home is open and airy, with modern coastal decor and many windows that allow natural light to fill the space. The beautiful ocean view is the perfect backdrop for the room. Kick back and relax in the comfortably furnished living area and watch TV or simply gaze out at the sparkling sea. The kitchen is as functional as it is attractive, with two refrigerators, plenty of counter space, and barstool seating. Family meals can be enjoyed at the dining table nearby. There is a smaller table that can be used as additional dining space, such as a kids’ table, or for playing cards or putting together a puzzle. A wet bar with a beverage refrigerator is also available for easy access to drink refills. When it’s time to clean up after family meals, the two dishwashers in the kitchen are a huge help. Just outside, the deck is the perfect place to watch a beautiful Outer Banks sunrise over the ocean or to relax and enjoy the salty breeze at any time of the day. The screened porch offers comfortable furnishings and a shaded spot to read a book while listening to the waves in the background. There is one master bedroom on the third floor of the home, which offers gorgeous ocean views, a private bathroom, and access to the deck. A half bathroom completes the top level of the home.
On the second floor, there is a den with a TV that has access to the covered decks. The remaining four master bedrooms can also be found on the second floor. Each master bedroom includes a private bathroom, and three of the master bedrooms have access to the covered deck. Enjoy a restorative soak in the hot tub, which is located on the second level deck. Laundry facilities are also available on the second floor.
Outside on the ground floor, fun in the sun is on your vacation agenda. Take a refreshing dip in the private pool, which features a tanning ledge. A poolside bar and variety of seating options are provided in the pool area. From the pool area, take a stroll over the dune to the beach. Enjoy making family vacation memories at this slice of Outer Banks paradise, the spectacular “High Noone” in North Swan Beach!

At the northern end of Highway 12, where the pavement ends and the sand begins, the 4x4 beaches are one of the most remote and unspoiled stretches of the Outer Banks — home to wild Colonial Spanish Mustangs and miles of undeveloped coastline.

North Swan Beach
On the north side of the Currituck National Wildlife Refuge, there is plenty of wide open space separating the communities of Swan Beach and North Swan Beach. Specifically referred to as “North Swan Beach”, this portion of the 4x4 Beaches is situated just south of Carova Beach and approximately 3 ½ to 4 miles north of the beach access ramp.
