"We were not able to have our “regular” beach house (long story that Twiddy is well aware of) but this was an OK substitute primarily due to its proximity to the beach. There is lots of room for our extended family to spread out and yet the common areas were large and welcoming for grandparents, children, grandchildren and our beagles. Yea, yes, yes! We will be back to make more memories at "The Life of Riley" and at the OBX!"
"We love Life of Riley and so do our dogs! This was the 4th time we've rented this house (should've been 5th but COVID canceled 2020). The location is fantastic - it is on a cul de sac street in a quiet neighborhood, beach access is right across from the driveway and it's a 5 minute bike ride or 15 minute walk to downtown Duck. The deck gates and fenced yard allow our furry friends freedom to roam without getting loose. Being able to see and hear the ocean along with the décor create a true beach house atmosphere. We're already looking forward to our 2022 vacation here!"
"My husband and I, and our dogs, loved this home! We've been coming to the Outer Banks for the past ten years and this was one of our favorite homes we've stayed in. The fully fenced back yard would have been fantastic, but the burrs were so bad the dogs could not go out without getting several stuck in their paws. I'm not sure if it's just a bad year for them, but we've never had that problem before. Other than that, we loved it!"

"This house has a great layout and location. You can see the water from the living/dining room and the decks are great. Having sitting areas on each level in addition to the bedrooms offers a lot of space. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation."
"We loved staying at the Life of Riley! From the set up of the house, pool, and hot tub to the proximity of the house to the beach access, it was perfect for our extended family and two beagles. Being close to Duck and having easy access to grocery stores made it even better. The ocean views from all porches and being able to hear the ocean made it even more relaxing. We loved it so much, we are hoping to stay there next year!"
"We had a wonderful time at Life of Riley. There were plenty of bedrooms for our family of six and lovely ocean breezes and partial views from the decks. The home was a good value for being very close to the beach and the beach itself, being private, was hardly crowded at all. The bathrooms and kitchen seem to be recently updated and there were plenty of storage areas available. I would note that the staircases are rather steep so I’m glad my elderly parents did not join us - this is something to note if you have mobility issues. We hope to return next year!"
