"Waddle Inn" to a newly renovated, amazing OBX vacation in Duck! Located on the oceanside of route 12, this home is a convenient walking distance to the beach, Schooner Ridge community amenities, and Duck Village. Enjoy the coastal comfort of this pet friendly home as well as plenty of things to do, both at the home and nearby.
The top level of the home features the great room, the abode’s main living space. Relax and enjoy treasured time with loved ones in the living area, or step outside onto the sun deck to enjoy some salt air with your conversation. There is a separate den that is perfect for sneaking away with a good book or a enjoying movie on the large screen tv. The kitchen is equipped with all that you need to prepare meals during your vacation. Meals can be enjoyed together in the adjacent dining area or on the large dining table on the deck. There is one bedroom (King) on the third floor, which features a semi-private bathroom that opens to the great room area as well.
Three master bedrooms (2 Kings, 1 Queen), each with a private bathroom and deck access, can be found on the second floor of the home. There are three additional bedrooms (1 Queen with deck access, 1 with two Full beds, 1 with two Twin beds) and a full bathroom also included on the middle floor.
Laundry facilities and a second refrigerator are located on the ground floor. Outside you can have some fun in the sun as you make a splash in the private pool, enjoy a restorative soak in the hot tub at day’s end, enjoy outdoor games, relax with a poolside meal or hang out in the lounge space. Schooner Ridge’s community amenities are located just a few homes away, including a fitness center with indoor pool, outdoor pool, tennis court that includes pickleball lines, and racquetball court. Easily walk into town for a cup of coffee at Duck’s Cottage or for dinner out. The Town of Duck Boardwalk and the beach are both approximately a 5-minute walk from the home. "Great house on a great block - easy walk to beach, town and very close to community center. Good layout with comfortable bedrooms. Lovely upper level with plenty of space. Great outdoor space and decks. Decks connect leading down to ground floor, which is convenient, and something to note if you’re bringing a dog."

"We liked everything about the house, especially the sitting area near the hot tub. We had 13 people and never felt cramped for space at any time. The rebuilt upper deck was very nice also."
"The house pool was super for the kids with built in shade from the floor above. Hot tub was nice and two nice heated showers next to pool and hot tub. The recreation center was a five minute walk away with two full tennis courts and a great playground right next to courts for the younger children. Indoor pool at rec center too. The guarded beach was about a ten minute walk with small children in wagons. There is another outdoor pool at beach access with outside showers. The house itself is nice with well stocked kitchen apparatus, comfortable beds and a super family room with large screen TV. Nice selection of games and puzzles. Bonus pong pong table in car port. We had a super time at the Waddle Inn."
