Kick back and relax, it’s the “Doctor’s Orders!” Experience vacation ease with stunning ocean views at this oceanfront home on a quiet street in the heart of Duck Village. This home offers panoramic ocean views, from the Duck Research Pier to Southern Shores. The beautiful Atlantic Ocean is in your backyard - take a short stroll to the beach where you can swim, surf, fish, or make sandcastles. The top level of the home features large windows that allow the ocean view into the great room, which includes a fireplace (seasonal availability). The renovated kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. The entire family can dine together at the adjacent dining area combined with the counter seating in the kitchen. There is one bedroom and one full bathroom on the top level of the home.
The middle level of the vacation home has one master bedroom, with a private bathroom attached, and three additional bedrooms. There are two more full bathrooms and laundry facilities included on this floor. The rec room with a pool table and video game is sure to be a favorite place to hang out. Friendly competition among family members can continue at the pool table or ping pong table.
Sunbathe on the wrap-around decks, watch the sunrise, or take a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Walk to Duck Village for morning coffee or live music in the afternoon. The best shopping, activities, restaurants, and events in the Town of Duck are walking distance or a short bike ride from the home. A stay at “Doctor’s Orders” is sure to leave you relaxed and rejuvenated!

"A call to maintenance about a sliding door which was off the track and would not open or close was answered promptly and cheerfully. The man who responded was there within about 90 minutes, and he was helpful, friendly, and funny; he took the door off entirely, then repaired and reset it on the track. It worked beautifully. Doctor's Orders has the very best equipped kitchen we've ever seen in a vacation rental, hands down! The only tool I didn't find was a pie lifter! They have equipped this kitchen for all-holiday cooking and family entertaining, with dual toasters, triple crockpots, blender, all sizes of casseroles, pots and pans, etc. These owners have even thought of the little things, like corn holders, individual dip/dressing/condiment dishes and cups, etc. The home is also equipped with super-comfortable beds, nice furnishings, and plenty of pool and beach equipment for a family. Thank you! NOTE TO TWIDDY MANAGEMENT: We should mention that we noticed as we were preparing for check-out--and drained/cleaned out, accumulated water from the cheese/cold-cut pullout bin at the bottom of the French door refrigerator. We THINK it may be that the ice maker/water dispenser has a clogged line or another problem which is causing that water accumulation."
