"This is a beautiful beach, vacation home. The beach-themed decor added to the feeling of being on vacation. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of counter and cabinet space. We especially appreciated the additional full refrigerator in the game room, as well as the extra icemaker in the kitchen. All of the appliances seemed to be new and functioned well. An elevator would have been very helpful as 2 of us are aged 75 plus. However, we rented it knowing there was not one in the house. Irish Mist is a comfortable place from which to enjoy the beach."

"Irish Mist is such a great vacation home! It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a 5 minute walk to the shops! Perfect for a couple families to share. The rec room was a perfect "man cave" for the husbands. This was our 1st trip to the OBX and can't wait to come back!"
