"Colehamer is the perfect retro beach home with many new updates. Cozy feel with family touches make it seem like coming home each year. Updated appliances and well-stocked kitchen. Lots of books, games for rainy days. Great outdoor shower and new walkway to the beach. We’ve stayed here over the years and look forward to another visit in 2025!"

"This is a charming older beach house. Nothing fancy about it and the price reflects that. A chance to live on the beach without the hotel amenities such as pool and big screen tv that you'd pay for at some of these larger mini hotels. Pack up your books and your small gathering and go to the beach."

"Colehamer is the quintessential beach home and our second stay here. Lovely home - Location is perfect (oceanfront and walking distance to Duck shops). We prefer to cook for ourselves and the kitchen had everything we needed. Including high chair and booster seat for grandbaby. Comfortable bedrooms, plenty of space for our small family. Awesome private boardwalk to the beach and really nice decks. Bring your binoculars for ocean watching and stargazing. WiFi very reliable. March weather was breezy and chilly this year, but gave us a very peaceful week at the beach, which was exactly what we were looking for. We love that this house is well loved for a long time by the original owners. Twiddy makes renting a beach house an easy experience. Looking forward to returning!"

"The Colehamer house is an instant favorite with our family. It was our first time staying there and we already reserved a week for next year! A prime location at the end of a quiet street, right on the beach! The peaceful feeling of being away from it all, but still just a short walk or drive from town where all the restaurants and shops are. A true beach house feeling/aesthetic while also feeling very homey and comfortable. Not too big, but plenty of room and space. It was a perfect set up and we had ages ranging from my 2 year old niece to her 74 year old grandfather on this trip and it was perfect for both the young and older. My family had such a meaningful week spent together and we are so thankful we found this house! It’s located on such a great strip of beach, too. It was perfect for us and we loved it! Thank you to the owners for such a cute, clean, comfortable home where you could feel the love put into and shared there. And thank you to Twitty rentals for such an easy process (I had suspicions because it seemed too good/easy to be true) but it was such a smooth, easy process and I can’t wait to use them again! -The Henry’s"
