"We loved the closeness to the beach, the well stocked kitchen with it's two refrigerators and dishwashers (wonderful), the fact that it is pet friendly (huge), the movie room and basement hangout space for the kids...Had a wonderful time!!!"

"The Sunny Duck had plenty of space for a family of 9 adults and 9 children ranging from 1 to 15 years old. The kitchen was well stocked with whatever you needed to cook a variety of meals. Two refrigerators and two dishwashers made it convenient for cooking meals and cleaning up. Its location was perfect for the beach and for other activities. Loved the pool and hot tub! The kids enjoyed the theater room at night, and playing pool in the recreation room. It was a great vacation for all of us!"

"The house was perfect for our family's annual OBX trip. All of the fridges were put to use, the washer & dryer were updated and wonderful, the pool was large enough for us all, the layout of all the rooms were perfect, and the small home theater room was used everyday."

"This is our 10th summer visiting the OBX and Sunny Duck is at the top of our list of homes we have stayed in! The home was perfect in so many ways! The home had everything we needed for the kitchen, beach and pool. Everything was meticulously labeled and organized. The beach carts were extremely helpful for the short walk to the beach. Location was perfect for evenings on the Duck boardwalk. Finally, the sunrises were stunning with panoramic views of the ocean. This is a home we will absolutely be back to in the coming years!!"

"Sunny Duck was a perfect home away from home for our extended family which included children from 1-11. The home is well kept and very organized. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Two dishwashers and two refrigerators in the kitchen were so nice to have with a large group. The ocean views were beautiful and close proximity to the beach access was great. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and theatre room which had a large and varied selection of movies to enjoy. We have been coming to Duck for many years and Sunny Duck is definitely our favorite house!"

"The home itself was great, the elevator and home theater were much enjoyed. The two refrigerators and dishwashers were greatly appreciated. The decor was beautiful, It was one of the most comfortable and spacious homes we've ever rented. We didn't get to use the beach stuff but it was nice to not have to bring it from home."

"Sunny Duck is well designed and comfy. Everything inside is good quality, the furniture, the kitchen appliances and cookware. The rooms are good sizes too. Beds were comfy. The upstairs TV was a little complicated to use. We used the hot tub almost everyday and it worked well. The grill worked but its seen better days. And the outside could use a little more attention. True, OBX has a midge fly problem, but the true enemy are the spiders that trap midges from who knows how long ago, and it makes the outside of buildings looks terrible. You will find that in shopping areas of OBX they don’t clean and it shows. In spite of this Sunny Duck is still a gem. Perfect distance from the beach. We loved it and would book again."

"This home has it all! It is beautifully decorated with a lot of space. Our family of 11 had all the accommodations it could possibly need. The kitchen is spacious with two refrigerators and dishwashers and plenty of counter space for making meals. The pool is a great addition! The location is perfect for walking to the beach and also close to the off road access in Corolla. Unfortunately, we were unable to use all of the beautiful porches due to the bugs this year, but the view from the top deck is wonderful. HIghly recommend!"
