"The house was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed with plenty of dishes, pots, etc. having the LVP flooring vs carpeting was great for cleanliness. The showers were fantastic with plenty of water pressure and hot water. The outside decks were great and had plenty of seating and great views."

"This is our second time staying at Whale Deserved. The house is beautiful. We loved the view and spent a lot of time on the top deck. The pool heat worked really well and we floated in the pool every day. The beach was a quick walk and Whalehead is our favorite area. All in all, one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had."
"The pool area was fantastic with seats and umbrellas we could keep the sun off us while enjoying a swim. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing and enjoying the slow evenings."

"We LOVED this home. It was perfect for me, my brother and my mom. The pool heat was the best thing we ever purchased the pool was very nice! The house was extremely clean and clutter free. I like a simple place because it makes it easier for us to keep clean and to be cleaned when we leave. Everything was very up to date with style and new. The only thing wrong was we couldn’t get the dishwasher to work but it might just be me because I have never had a dishwasher. But I didn’t care about that just wanted to let you know. That was our favorite outer banks stay in our last three trips there. House was amazing. Twiddy employees always great as usual! Thank you all for being so helpful."

Beautifully decorated, well situated an easy walk to the beach, a great pool and hot tub, and everything you could possibly need for a perfect time in the Outer Banks. You can tell the owners love the Outer Banks and this is not just a rental house, it is a home."
"Whale Deserved’s recent updates have made it like a brand new house. It’s in excellent shape inside and out. We especially loved the hot tub since it was a chilly week, and as crazy as it sounds, a little thing like the free Lighthouse bagels meant a lot. It shows the owner cares and goes a little bit above expectations."

"Children loved the yard, the pool was above average, ping pong and Foosball were a hit. I prefer oceanfront but the amenities provided by having a larger yard made all the difference. We've booked the house for next year."

"The renovations on Whale Deserved were amazing - fresh paint, new floors, new furniture, new decking, etc. Everyone loved the house and location. The only thing I think the owners should know is we tried to use the Margarita Machine and realized a sticky brown substance was in the ice shoot and we tried to clean the machine but decided against using it. Whomever used it last did not properly clean it."
"The updates that the owners completed are a great addition to this house. We came with friends who were amazed at how great the house was and how the owners keep making updates to improve the house. I thought that the house was great as it was but the new floors, furniture, and kitchen renovations that were made really make the house classy and so comfortable. The owners have thought of everything and I was really impressed with the couch covers as we brought our dog and I always worry about him leaning against the furniture. Overall, it is a great house with a great location! We already booked for next year!"
"A great vacation was had by all.our 8 year old had a grand time. He went from the beach to the pool to the hot tub,always with adult supervision. Then the day progressed to either lunch or the arcade."

"The house is well maintained and had a fully stocked kitchen. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The pool area had comfortable chairs and umbrellas. The free bagels were a plus. It is close to the beach, Timbuk II, Food Lion and many restaurants. You can tell that the owners are making improvements during the off season. We have stayed there for two years now and already booked for next year!"
