Having 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers in the kitchen was awesome! Also the refrigerator on the first level was nice as well we stored our beach and pool drinks in there. The kitchen was well stocked with all our cooking and preparing needs. Also having 2 washers and dryers was amazing for the amount of people we had! We loved the amount of seats and room there was in the living area, enough for everyone to sit comfortably and hang out!"

"Location and bedroom layout are phenomenal! The upper deck area is large with ample seating which is something we always look for in a rental. Home seems well maintained for the most part. Larger than average pool and surround, kiddie pool a bonus for those visiting with little ones. Afternoon shade in the pool area was wonderful."

"We love the location of the house and it's private boardwalk to the beach. Since we were there in winter, we really appreciated the indoor space, including the theater and game rooms. The elevator was really useful, especially with aging parents. The long table was perfect for big family meals, as was the extra counter space and two refrigerators. It's a great house!"

"We could not get into our house when we were given the code for the door. At that point I called Twiddy. I spoke to someone there and within 5 minutes we were good to go. There also was an issue with the elevator being out of order and Twiddy called me personally a week prior to let me know. Just knowing that someone was there for me was crucial as to why I have used Twiddy for the last 20 years. Thank you for everything. Communication is crucial in Real Estate rentals.."

"Tupelo Honey is a beautiful home with great bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen, great location in Whalehead close to Food Lion and shops. The Theatre Room was a big hit with the kids, as well as the arcade game, pool table, and ping pong! Access to the beach was excellent! Overall a great place to spend your vacation!"

The only problem was the need for improved traffic control on Saturday in Duck. it has gotten so bad that friends of ours will not return after coming there every year for 25 yrs. "We loved the 3 master bedrooms in the main level! Separate and private from the living space. Nice upper deck with ocean view and sturdy furniture and nice front corner space with ocean view and sunset view. Pool deck with new decking and great pool. Overall the house needs some TLC but a nice home."
"Tupelo Honey is a comfortable oceanfront beach house. Inside furniture is all in very good shape. Electronics like huge smart TVs are in excellent condition and all work! The deck & pool furniture is superior, and there is lots of it. The theater room and game room proved a big hit with the kids. The three king suites on the top floor are separated from the living room and kitchen by a private hallway with a door. It was a pleasant surprise and made these suites very private and quiet. The location is perfect in Whalehead, so you are close to everything and Whalehead has the best bike riding in Corolla. I was a bit concerned about the public beach walk next to the house, but it proved to be no issue. I have rented more than ten oceanfront houses, and Tupelo Honey is one of my favorites. I have already booked it again for next year."
