"My family stayed at the home "Stretch Of Heaven" in Whalehead in June 2025. We were celebrating my husband and my fiftieth wedding anniversary. Our three children, their spouses and our seven grandchildren joined us. The size of the home (12 bedrooms) easily accommodated fifteen people. The home was absolutely stunning! We appreciated the gorgeous coastal decor in all of the living areas, outdoor gathering areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. Every room looks like it could be featured in Coastal Living magazine. The home is direct oceanfront, and has many lovely outdoor gathering spaces on decks, patios and around the beautiful pool. The owners have thought of everything to make this home the perfect vacation spot -- here are a few of the highlights- fun bunks rooms for kids, media room, game station area, totally stocked enormous gourmet kitchen, all bedrooms are en-suites, outdoor bar with TV, refrigerators and microwaves on every floor, many covered outdoor decks, and a massive main living area overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Lastly, Twiddy & Company made our OBX rental experience fantastic. They provided continuous communication before, during and after our OBX stay, and they were immediately responsive to any questions we had. We had a wonderful time at "Stretch Of Heaven", and Twiddy and Company were a large part of it."
"The house was amazing from the guest houses to the large bedrooms in the main house to the outside entertainment and pool! The view from the main floor on the third level was stunning! We watched dolphins just about every day and enjoyed our walks on the beach. Also Twiddy was very accommodating to a few questions we had and their service was outstanding! Thank you!"
