With a full acre on the beach get ready for a traditional OBX beach vacation on with a modern touch at Roxy's Retreat! Constructed in a classic Nags Head beach house style, this home offers the cozy feel of Outer Banks cottages of yesteryear while offering sought-after amenities like a private pool. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic ocean views from both levels and from many rooms in the house. Upon entering the home, you are greeted by the ocean view flooding through the floor to ceiling windows in the great room. The living area features comfortable seating and access to the oceanfront deck to step outside into the salty air. Across the room, the kitchen, with island, has everything needed to prepare meals for a crowd. Enjoy the sunrise over the ocean while eating breakfast in the dining area, or dine outdoors in the spacious screened porch and listen to the waves crash. There are ocean views and deck access from the master bedroom on this level, which includes a private bathroom with a whirlpool tub and a separate shower. Two additional bedrooms, a full bathroom, and laundry facilities can be found on this level.
Step up to the top level to an open common area, featuring views of the ocean, a card table, and shuffleboard. A wet bar is nearby to keep snacks and drinks handy. There is a master bedroom, with a private bathroom, two additional bedrooms, and a full bathroom as well. Two of the bedrooms each have access to a private deck. Step outside and along the walkway to the beach, where you'll find a spacious dune deck, perfect for relaxing with an afternoon beverage. A smaller boarded area with seating can be found between the dune deck and the beach. On the front side of the home, you will find several options for outdoor entertainment. Splash in the private pool, or challenge the family to a game of volleyball or basketball. Once the sun sets for the evening, gaze at the stars from the hot tub, which is located in the pool area. This home's setting in Southern Shores offers peace and quiet while being a short drive from shopping, restaurants, and activities. Gather the family for a fun-filled vacation at Roxy's Retreat!

The website didn’t list everything the home had so when we arrived we were happily surprised to see a high chair and gate and crockpot. The amount of space was exactly what we needed with a big group. I had to contact the Twiddy office and they were so helpful and friendly and we wished we could have stayed longer."

The pool was so nice and much closer to the house than it appears in some pictures (baby monitor reached to the pool). The view and sunrise/sunset is unreal. We will definitely be back!"

Some of the furniture could be upgraded on the screen porch and family room but nothing that deterred from our stay. Great house!"
