"The location of the home was perfect, being situated away from public beach access but having your own private one it was like having your own section on the beach and the cabana service was great too. We didn’t have to carry nearly as much stuff out everyday."
"This was our second stay in Painted Lady. We loved the new master bath on the top floor… especially the shower. The new deck floor was great too! The only difficulties we had were with the sliding doors to the decks sticking and the freezer section of the refrigerator did not open easily. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is extremely comfortable and great for our family. We’ve booked it again for next fall."

"Great location! Sunrise was spectacular. The house had everything we needed. We had a minor problem with one of the dishwashers but it was quickly seen to by Twiddy and were able to use the second dishwasher until it was fixed. We are already looking forward to next year."

"The Painted Lady was great to accommodate our 3 generations of family (9 kids and 9 adults). Lots of space, nice bedrooms/bathrooms and ample seating for meals and movie watching. The pool and private dune deck were key! Thank you for the ice machine - it was a favorite perk in the house! The midges paid us a visit, but I guess they cannot be avoided. Only complaint: the outside shower could use some sprucing up - it was a little sad and dreary in there. We loved our week in OBX...thanks Painted Lady!"
"This has everything that you could possibly want in a vacation home. The kitchen was beautiful and so many utensils. I honestly can not say one negative thing about this house. We had a wonderful week and look forward to renting it again."

"Great view, close to the ocean, easy access to the ocean, clean, nice house. Only gripe was that the dvd player didn't work and we love to watch movies! Otherwise, no complaints! Fireplace wasn't working, but they fixed it on Tuesday. Staff at Twiddy was friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong with this house!"
