"Beautiful home inside & out. Well stocked kitchen, & gorgeous views of the ocean, as well as the lighthouse. The walk to the beach was only about a 3 minute walk, which is a huge bonus. We loved the oversized pool, & the pool area had plenty of seating. We also appreciated the Welcome bag left in the kitchen."

"This house was THE BEST we’ve ever stayed in on the Outer Banks. We just booked again for next year. Pool is always in the sun, and the walk to the beach is less than five minutes. Very comfortable and roomy. Nice beds. Two outdoor showers. Hot tub. Wet bar, bathroom, and fridge on the pool level. TVs in every room. Ocean view. Well furnished. I mean… honestly. The best. "Irish Dream was a perfect vacation home for our family of 6. Could easily have had a few more people too. Decor was beachy and amazing. The home had such quick beach access and an incredible view. Pool and jacuzzi were a wonderful addition. Loved all the kids games! My only request would be maybe a few umbrellas for the beach, some more larger beach chairs and possibly a wagon to bring it all down. Overall an incredible vacation! Would book this home again in a second."
"This house was wonderful. Would stay here again. Very well kept. The kitchen was well stocked, distance to the beach was easy, good pool area. The house was located on a very quiet cul-de-sac. I really don't have any major complaints. We stayed at another Twiddy house in June and the cleaning company did a better job at this house than the house we stayed at in June. A couple suggestions if you are bringing kids. They don't have anything in terms of board games, puzzles, etc, so bring a few things especially if you have a rainy day. There are a lot of knick knacks in the house so if you have little ones I might place some of those higher so they don't get damaged. Would rent this house again :-)"
Thank you so much for the kind review. I was afraid no one would find the games and puzzles. Downstairs they are in the blue corner cabinet. Upstairs they should be in the cabinet next to TV. So glad you enjoyed your stay.

The only negative is the rec room....while comfortable it needs to be updated in the beautiful shabby coastal decor like the rest of the house. Will rent this house again.💜"

"House was nice and clean and location was perfect! Downfalls.. basement needs to be updated.. bbq was falling apart..pots and pans need to be replaced. Especially knowing this is a house you will be eating at constantly those are huge things that need to be fixed or at least addressed before your stay."
