"The location of this home was fabulous!!!! It’s literally less than a minute to get on the beach with access shared only by the neighbor on one side. The house was very spacious with so many nice features like a small fridge and microwave on the second floor. That was so helpful with children staying on that floor. There’s so much seating for meals and sitting outside. The only reason I took away a star was because there’s some obvious wear and tear that needs addressed. The sliding glass doors lock, but they are rusting and some of the seals were hanging. The pool area needs some cement work around the rim. There were a lot of cracks. Finally, there were spiders and spiders webs al over outside. I think those should be sprayed! Overall I was very pleased and thought it was worth the price."
"Views were breath taking and opportunity for memories to be made. Great fun for family and all. Slight hiccup with the elevator but service tech was quick and respectful. Despite weather being chilly, and gas shortage. Memories were made and fun was had by all. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking to experience what the outerbanks has to offer."
"The location in a gated community was great though keep in mind that public access is right next to the house so the beach does get more people than we’re used to when staying in other communities. We were the first of the season there so I think we encountered some upkeep issues. The pool had so much sand inside from the dunes that it was literally an inch thick and 2 feet out from the fence, which made it difficult to keep out of the pool and hot tub. We had to have an electrician come due to exposed wiring that had shorted by the pool and the grill was completely rusted out. All was fixed by the time we left though! And we were excited to use the Margaritaville mixer shown in the picture, but it doesn’t work (they have another blender to use). The elevator was so nice to have, the beds are all comfortable and the views can’t be beat! We bought a squeegee for the windows at Rocky’s in Corolla though because the sea mist gathers on them quickly. I’d def recommend doing that for pristine views, which includes the dolphins swimming by. We loved having 2 fridges, 2 coffee makers and 2 stoves! Everything you need is in the kitchen, there’s a ton of games and videos for rainy days and the whole house sound system (inside and outside) was great to play music. There is setup of an umbrella and 3 chairs by the beach, but it took us a few days to figure out which ones were ours because there’s no sign and there’s another company that sets up chairs and umbrellas in the same area. Access to the beach was right off a walkway to your left, which was so nice to have! Overall, we enjoyed the house and found it more than spacious to fit everyone."
