"We loved the house. It was perfect. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great, everything was nice, kitchen was perfect for large groups. We were sad there wasn’t cornhole boards and wished the pool had a deeper end, but it worked out great. Beach access was amazing."

"From the check in process to check out, this home is top notch. The minute you ascend the stairs (or step out of the elevator) , the views of the sound and ocean are spectacular. The professional style kitchen makes cooking a pleasure. The interior design of the home is impeccable. I give this home a 6 out of 5 stars!"

"Pros- The house was absolutely amazing, it was beautiful. It was spacious, We loved the views and all the masters. Fully stocked kitchen (we asked about having a keurig ahead of time and told no, but it had two) Theatre room came in handy when storms hit me us for multiple days. Cons- We did have some issues with the pool heater not working for 3 days, There was an error code that had to be fixed. That was a little frustrating since it was mid September and we paid for a heated pool, For the amount of bedrooms and people it holds… more lounge chairs around the pool would be nice. The house is right off main road into Corolla so traffic noise can be heard from Sound side bedrooms. Also bedroom on theatre room side had noise issues too (walls not sound proof). There were only 3 beach chairs (told 4) but used to previous Twiddy rentals having enough for everyone, We were told ahead, so not a fault of owner. That's what is listed. The previous rentals said 4 too, but always had more."

"We loved everything about this beautiful home!! Bedrooms for everyone, each with their own bathroom & all 5 kings with their own deck, gorgeous kitchen with ample seating for our family of 19, plus 2 dishwashers! The 2 washers & dryers came in handy as well. Theater room was a big hit when the kids weren’t in the pool or at the beach. Great vacation!!"

"The Sound and the Sea is fully stocked, the upkeep is excellent and it is evident the owners put money into the house through upgrades and overall maintenance. The location is great with a wide open beach, great ocean and sound views, and we look forward to coming back next year (our 4th in a row)!"

"This home was fantastic before all the latest updates! We were completely “wowed” by the new kitchen, new and additional appliances, new A/C, new primary bathroom, updated game room appliances, new sink in laundry room, new decor in elevator, new living room decor, new beds….The 2 commercial washers/dryers are a lifesaver, and the Dyson on each level make it easy to keep the floors clean. The new kitchen sink and two new dishwashers makes meal cleanup a breeze. This was our third year in this home. We are very appreciative for everything these homeowners do to make our family vacation wonderful, and we treat this home as though we own it."

"We has already reserved this home for 2024. We bring 8 people, and it gives us plenty of room to spread out. The location is fantastic, the beach uncrowded. The house with the elevator, ( for supplies and for the grandparents) two dishwashers, three Dyson's, and three washers and dryers is a dream - not to mention the beautiful furnishings, wonderful bathrooms, game room, pool, and beach access."

Besides being beautiful, it was well stocked with pots and pans, silverware, and dishes. The game room and theater room were an awesome addition and the views were remarkable. We hated to leave…."

"The interior of the home was pretty good with some good updates especially to the kitchen. The bathrooms were also nicely done. However the exterior of the home needed a lot of work with many holes in the siding and issues with some of the doors. The exterior furniture also needs updating. The kitchens pans were very old and there were not any usable pots except for huge ones."
