"This was our first time staying at Great Escape II and it definitely won't be our last! The home was very comfortable and the new updated kitchen was amazing and fully stocked with every kitchen item imaginable. The pool area was really nice and our family enjoyed jumping in after a hot day on the beach. The only two complaints would be the the floors were still dirty when we arrived and the grill was not working. Luckily, there was a broom so we quickly fixed the floor situation. Twiddy was extremely helpful with the non-functioning grill and dropped off a loaner so we could have our cookout. All in all, it was a great week at Great Escape II!"

We are very sorry to hear that the floors were not cleaned; that is unacceptable and we will make sure housekeeping is aware of this. We also apologize for the grill not working. Not sure what happened as we were just down in May & cleaned up the grill for the rental season. Happy to hear that Twiddy responded quickly & dropped off a loaner grill. We have now purchased a new grill for the pool area. We hope you’ll consider renting our home again in the future. Thank you!!
"The Great Escape 2 was an excellent choice for our vacation. The views are spectacular and the proximity to the beach was great. The house has everything you need and the kitchen was amazing! No need to go out to eat! Everything you need for family meal prep is there! My only wish was that there was a broom and dust pan so we could sweep daily, but that was not a show stopper! We just figured it out. We will definitely be back!"

Yes, I dont know what happend to our dust pan & broom and I meant to replace it with a new one when we were down in April! Sorry about that but appreciate your feedback! "Great Escape II was a beautiful home. It had everything we needed! The kitchen was very well appointed. The furniture was wonderful and comfortable. The large pool and proximity to the beach was amazing. We liked it so well we have put an advanced hold on the property for next year and can hardly wait to return."

"Very well appointed home. As mentioned in other reviews the stand alone ice maker doesn’t work. We defrosted, powered off, etc, no ice. The beach is very narrow here at this point. For many hours around high tide the beach is unusable - the water is up to the dune. Great hot tub."

"We have stayed here before. The location and floor plan were perfect for our extended family. We did have some water damage from the hurricane but it was taken care of. We did not have ice the entire week due to a broken ice maker. Otherwise everyone had a great time. I tried to rebook the house again for 2023 but was told that Twiddy is not renting it next year."
"Large well appointed bedrooms, awesome decks, everything you could think of needing in the kitchen, lots of bathrooms, and the views - beautiful!! Lovely pool, lots of beach chairs and only steps from the beach. Other than my fitted sheet kept slipping off each night and the fact that Hurrican Ian blew through (powerful but also beautiful) so there was some leakage around several windows and sliding doors - but we called Twiddy and they came and dealt with the issues ever so quickly. Ice maker didn't work but they were ordering a part so should be good for the next family. Everything was great for our vacation. - Would definitely stay here again!!"

"This is our second time at Great Escape II. The location is great as it feels almost like a private beach. Interior was clean and beds were comfortable. We were 4 adults and two children. Exterior needs a good power washing and the windows needs to be washed on the outside."
