"We really enjoyed the pine island community which permitted access to the community pool ahead of check in. The community pool gave us something to do while we waited for the house to be ready. Community facilities were clean and were a added bonus. There is a community playground the kids enjoyed. The actual house, Sea Gem, had all the items we needed - with the kitchen being stocked with many pots and pans and provided plenty of plates and silverware to feed a large crowd. The house even provided some beach and pool items to utilize. Additionally, the layout of the house was perfect for 3 families with multiple kids. Each family had a queen or king bed and twin beds for the kids. The walk to the beach was relatively short, with only one set of stairs to get over the dunes; this made carrying the beach items manageable. A wonderful house and location to enjoy the beach."

A few odd items would be beneficial… a cake pan, spatulas, large cookie sheet. Twiddy was very efficient in correcting any issues that arose during our rental. I will definitely go back."

"This house was perfect for our family. It was not the newest decor but perfect for 3 active kids and a dog. Only negative was the stairs but my knees were a lot stronger by the end of the week. Lots of room and the little ones loved the bunk beds. Also having a stand alone ice maker was really great."

"Nice home in Pine Island, which is a great community in Corolla. Sea Gem is very spacious with a terrific kitchen, dining and family room on the top floor. Hot tub and pool are very nice as well. Lots do & see in Corolla, Duck is just a few minutes away. Harris Teeter grocery store is 5 minutes away, ABC is less. Corolla Village BBQ is excellent for outdoor dining or take out. As usual, everything with Twiddy was easy."

"Good house in a great neighborhood close to the beach. We took advantage of virtual learning and working to stay here for 3 weeks. The house could use some TLC. The master shower is tiny. The fireplace did not work and the ice maker was very loud and not efficient. Regardless, there is no better place than the OBX."
