"Very spacious house with lots of children gates to protect our grandchildren. Direct access to the beach, great views from the large room upstairs gave everyone a great beach time!"

"Home was clean and well stocked. Love the kitchen on 1st floor. We would like to recommend that the homeowner supply some kind of cabinet in the kitchen as there is no pantry or place to put kitchen items. Could possible do away with the 3rd refrigerator and put some kind of pantry there."

"The number of refrigerators was huge! We had plenty of space for everyone to store their food. We loved the layout of the kitchen. The home was spacious, and the bedroom sizes were great and very comfortable. We loved that the rooms had extra seating to relax. The heated pool was extremely nice and allowed us to enjoy the pool even when the weather was a little cool."

"Plenty of room with a great layout. Each floor had good acoustics, meaning people coulr hangout on one floor without being too loud for others. Liked the games in the garage...could still play in the rain. One thing...the cloth seats and glass tops on the tables were super stressful with kids. Constantly afraid they would break, or sit on them with damp bathing suits."

"We had a great time in this house. The kitchen was stocked with many of the needed items. The gym and table games were a huge hit in our group. The surround sound system was high quality and used not only in the theatre room but outside by the pool."

"We loved the first overall home! It was extremely convenient that every bedroom was spacious and each had its own master bathroom! The beds were comfy as well. We love the easy beach access that were steps away! The pool was secure with a fence around it to keep the little ones safe. The whole family enjoyed the theater room, game room and extras. The deck access off a few bedrooms was nice and there was many ways to get to the ramp to the beach. Lots of refrigerators (5 of them) were absolutely necessary. 2 ice machines were nice on 2 different levels."

"Kids loved game rooms and media room. Lots of room to do each ones thing or small groups. A few things need attention such as microwave and better cleaning. Overall great!"

"Pine Island Landing has so many features that were perfect for our family that ranges in ages from 1 to 85! This home has all the amenities that you could want. Our crew enjoyed the game room in the garage where you could open up the garage door and feel like you were outside! The beds were so comfy, and the rooms were all quiet. The house is so spacious. Really loved that the 1st level had a full functioning kitchen. The Moms of the little ones loved the middle floor kitchenette with fridge and sink to prepare bottles and keep all the kids snacks close at hand. The laundry room was a huge bonus to our big family with all of the washers and dryers. The pool area was exceptional and the kiddie pool with the fountain was a hit. We absolutely loved the home and have already booked it for next year!"

"Incredible amount of upgrades. Most times I've been down to Corolla, I've stayed at wonderful homes but a lot of the furniture, appliances as well as kitchen and bathrooms were very dated. Pine Island landing is an exceptional beach home with tremendous views. Twiddy was also very accommodating and id recommend anyone who wants a luxurious relaxing vacation to stay here."

"The home was a perfect location. And just the right size for our group of 15. Eleven adults and four kids. Going mid May OBX was nor overly crowded. I was happy the owner kept the kiddie pool- our three year olds loved it. Lots of space for people to spread out and perfect location to watch sun rises and moon rises."

"Proximity to the beach and having a wooden walkway to get there was such a nice touch. Pine Island Landing had a very well equipped kitchen and the bedrooms were spacious. Our only complaint was the theater was made smaller when renovations were done and didn’t have enough seating for the amount of people the house comfortably sleeps. The pictures weren’t updated before our stay so that was a shock. Loved the pool and kiddie pool!"

"This home provides beautiful sunrises, sunsets and access to the beach. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The home is in need of maintenance. Several of the items in the game room did not function, pool chairs and umbrella stands broken and there were holes in the soffit. Our family always enjoys our time in OBX and we did not let the shortfalls of this home ruin our time together."

"This home is awesome. Pleanty of room for 18 people ranging in age from under 1 to 74 years old. The kitchen is a dream to feed this many people for a week. The view of the sunrise from most of the bedrooms and the great room is absolutely stunning. The pool and hottub were a big hit. I highly recommend this home."

"Beautiful, large house right on the beach. Lovely kitchen with multiple ovens, microwaves and dishwashers. The pool and baby pool were wonderful, although the waterfall wasn't working. Had to have a gas tank delivered for the grill, and also an iron and ironing board. Whole house music system was not operational. Lots of boogie boards and bikes (all sizes) in the garage. We made good use of the elevator, pool table, and theater when not at the beach or the pool. Twiddy was very responsive to all our requests. Great vacation."
