"Elevator is a requirement for us, but for anyone it is a great way to get luggage and groceries up easily. Location to the beach access is perfect. Location on the cul-de-sac is nice as limits traffic. Bedrooms are large and comfortable with several having large bathrooms."
"We loved the homes location to the beach! As well as it not having public access making it less busy. The beds were comfortable and house temperature was perfect! We loved the pool table although the pool sticks need new tips badly. All amenities worked well with the exception of the refrigerators. The upstairs one took awhile to get cold enough and the downstairs one froze items in the back of it. Great water pressure and temps too. Would definitely stay here again!"

A great house for 8 adults and 8 grandkids, pool was great, location was perfect, even a modified pickleball court to share with other residents. Stocked with all the items we needed, and yes the weather was outstanding for our week"

"This was our first time staying in Silent Lucidity and were very pleased with the house and location. The elevator is always a plus, the bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable for our family of 6 adults. The cul-de-sac was very quiet and not crowded due to the property not having public access. The close proximity to the dune walk was a great help. Pool area and balconies were great, and we enjoyed our evening Happy Hours there each day. There is plenty of space in the kitchen for pantry and food storage for the week. As with a previous post, the dune has heightened and the views in some photos are not what you get anymore, but that is the “beach life”. We have already rebooked for next year and look forward to coming back!"
"The kitchen in Silent Lucidity was well equipped. The pool and hot tub were refreshing and it was nice having the walkway to the beach so close to the house. I have been renting a house in the Outerbanks for over 20 years and this is the first house with a 4pm check-in time. I'm not sure why this is the case."

"The home is in a great location and it met our expectations with two exceptions. First, the exhaust in the vented gas fireplace on the top floor does not work well. When we turned it on, burnt gas exhaust came in the room so we found the fireplace unusable. Second and most important, the mattress in the master bedroom on the top floor is hard as a brick. We didn’t get a good nights sleep as a result. When we talked to the Twiddy home inspector they told us that the homeowner had recently replaced the mattress with an orthopedic model. The homeowner should consider replacing it with a more generic mattress that would be more comfortable for wide range of house guests."
