"The house provided amazing views of the ocean with lots of deck space. It was large enough for our family and friends - plenty of bedrooms and a large common area on the 3rd level. The kitchen was well equipped."

A few negatives: TV’s were challenging, the master bedroom and bath were very cold, the powder room toilet on the 3rd floor ran constantly, definitely needs attention. We lived this home!!!!"

"We loved the view, especially from the top floor, the wide beach, and the pool area. The beach is less crowded than others due to the limited housing on this narrow stretch of Corolla. The elevator was super important to us and worked great."

"First time at this location after many years of vacationing in Whalehead and we preferred the street layout of the neighborhood plus the views afforded by the property's orientation. Truly a 180 degree panorama of the ocean from the main public area. Very spacious home, well equipped with beautiful finishes. Dining table was perfect for our group. Handicapped access ramp and elevator was a great help as well. Pool area was large, beautiful and clean. Great access to beach."

"Our second year at this home. We love it and it fits us! The dining room table fits us all at 18 plus people, which is great. We have been coming to the OBX for over 45 years. Our family has grown and this house has it all. The access to the beach, the pool, the view, everything. But, it would be nice if the kitchen had a crock pot, or two, and casserole dishes with glass lids. My dad's wishes. We are booked for next year again. We enjoyed your home so much. Thank you."

"A most wonderful house, THE BIG HOUSE! Fully stocked, spacious, feels like home, private and up keep is well-maintained. It would be awesome if each house could list appliances and amenities to the fullest as we brought our own but this house was FULLY stocked via the kitchen. Also the TV needs to be simpler as to navigation. Otherwise, our trip was great! We have vacationed in Corolla past 25 yrs but this was the first time our family of 26 stayed on the beach and we loved it! TY Twiddy!"

"Location was great. Bugs were everywhere - 1st time in 20+ years we could never sit out on the decks. Pool was great but very little deck space around it for gathering. Also decking was too hot to walk on. Some bathrooms were not cleaned well and many was quite dated. Oven broke. Top floor was great with amazing views. Beds were super comfortable. Could use more refridgerator space on top floor. Pool was not cleaned well on first day an on Thursday was not turned back on - we had to get it going again."

"Very nice beach house! Great design for facing the ocean. A few items need repair (kitchen drawer, light in guest room, wall outlets that were repaired during our stay, toilet not functioning properly on lower level, etc.). Pool is wonderful, great size! Nicely furnished - just wish the kitchen refrigerator was larger. Fun front yard with volleyball net and area to play horseshoes and bocce ball! Enjoyed our vacation immensely."
