"The decor is fabulous. It’s close proximity to both the ocean and the pool are ideal. It’s plenty big enough for 14 people to gather, relax and eat. The bbq out back is great. And the elevator is a god-send, especially for our mobility impaired friends and for bringing in luggage and food."

"Fabulous home! The home is spacious, well maintained, super clean and has a plethora of kitchen dishes, gadgets, pots, pans, serving plates, etc. There is plenty of room in the communal spaces and the bedrooms are isolated from each other. The furnishings are very comfortable and the walk to the beach and pool are both convenient."

"The house itself was wonderful and the location to the beach was great and we could see the ocean from the balcony. Close to grocery shopping and other shopping. Not a great choice for eating establishments in October. Biggest drawback for us was lack of a pool in October and having hot tub on deck made some feel uncomfortable using it who were not in the adjoining bedrooms."

"What a comfortable home!! Couches & beds are comfy! We had the best week here with our group of 9. Very close to grocery stores, shopping, beach - everything! Great neighborhood. Great homeowners. They sent us a thank you gift basket with wine & cheese on day 1! Nice beach chairs & outdoor shower. The tiki bar was a blast! This place is better than even expected. Great kitchen with lots of appliances, crock pot, instapot, blender etc. We also liked how the master bedroom is slightly tucked away from the main kitchen area. You won't miss the pool, there's one across the street basically. We didn't use it since we had perfect beach weather. One of the best houses we've stayed in for the price! Loved!"
"We really enjoyed this house. It was a short walk to the beach, and the Seabird Way section (H, I, J, O) is super close to both Food Lion and Harris Teeter, which can't be beat. The house itself was excellent. It was a good layout and the elevator really helped for loading and unloading groceries and baggage. The "tiki" style bar and outside television were an excellent hangout zone. The house was well wired for internet and streaming services. Everything worked as anticipated. Also, this was one of the best equipped houses we've ever used in terms of kitchen appliances, dishes, pots and pans and the like. The only draw back was that the hot tub was immediately outside the sliding door of one of the master bedrooms. That could get annoying for someone staying in that room. Actually, we didn't fill the house so no one took that room."
"La Buena Vida was the perfect home for our group. The house is beautifully furnished and laid out perfectly. Our group had 14 people and not once did we feel like we were on top of each other. The kitchen is well stocked, and has ample seating for everyone. The tiki bar and outdoor seating area were a big hit, and beach access was incredibly easy to get to. We can’t wait to come back soon!"

"We loved our week at La Buena Vida! The home was beautiful, with a perfect layout and really well stocked with kitchen and beach gear. There were several dining areas both inside and outside, so we really had a lot of room to spread out during mealtimes. The location is perfect - you're a couple houses away from the boardwalk path going out to the beach and the street is quiet. We've stayed in a lot of homes on the Outer Banks and this is definitely our favorite!"
