"We loved our stay at Skipjack! We have stayed at several other houses in Corolla and Skipjack is by far the best. Great location, pretty much a beachfront house. Awesome views from the deck. We also loved the layout! Direct access from the pool to every deck level. It was just an overall great house!"

"Wonderful location close to 4x4 beach and short walk to the ocean for morning and evening walks. We love the house. Beds are very comfortable. The pool and hot tub are nice extras. The hot water was not working in the out door shower and one of the jets was not working in the hot tub. Flies remained a problem. This was our 4th year vacationing in this home. We appreciate the new appliances this year. It has all the conveniences we are looking for in a beach house."

"This is second year in this home. We love the location. So close to the 4x4 beach where we spend most of our time. Yet so close to the beach for morning and evening walks. The home has plenty of room to spread out. We love the 3rd level deck with ocean views for our morning coffee. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is the home could use a deep cleaning and some upgrades. Planning to return next year. In our 30 years of vacationing on OBX, we have never returned to the same house until now."

"We loved the location & being so close to the beach. Kitchen was great & well stocked w/ cooking/baking utensils. Liked having the 3 levels and the deck areas gave a nice view of the ocean! Just a few little things that would be an improvement: trimming outdoor brush/ bushes, especially by the pool; and updating electrical outlets in master bathroom- I couldn’t use my hairdryer in there."

"Excellent quality mattresses made for amazing sleep each night. Beautiful ocean view and a pool that really feels connected to the house. We loved that the chairs on the pool deck had cushions. The furniture and decor throughout the house looked perfect and were in excellent condition. House is right next to the beach walkway and location couldn't be better. We all loved riding our bikes various places all week."
