"Location and layout of the house is perfect! The pool is not huge but it was nice to use when we needed a break from the hot sand. We loved how bright the upstairs was and the openness of the top floor. Having 3 floors, each with a common area, allowed us to spread out so we all could enjoy our activities; watching TV, reading, puzzles, etc. while the teenagers played pool on the lower level. The kitchen needs attention: there weren’t enough dinner plates for 12 people and there weren’t large enough pots or pans to cook for 12. There weren’t any serving bowls available or tongs for the grill. I expect a house that sleeps 12 would have an adequately stocked kitchen, allowing us to prepare food for the occupancy of the house. The kitchen knives were dull and rusty, the microwave is functioning but not at 100% and makes a noise while using. The dishwasher appears to have been installed incorrectly and the top rack slides out when you open it, so watch your arms. I know these are minor issues but they are relatively inexpensive to fix and they would make a big difference to those who don’t eat out for every meal. We would definitely return but I’ll make sure to pack a few kitchen essentials allowing me to cook for everyone in our family."
